Terrible service I called to ask if I can order egg rolls to pick up and she yelled at me and said they don’t deliver and hung up on me. I wasn’t asking for delivery I just wanted to place an order. If I could Id give no star.

Been coming here all my life. This is your standard fast food Chinese restaurant. It’s delicious when you’re feasting on the overly portioned orange chicken and then regretting it an hour later. Yet it always has me coming back for more! The prices(roughly $ 6 for a two item combo) are excellent and the amount of food you get is amazing! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some fast food Chinese food. Bring cash although they recently started taking credit cards($ 10min). Tip: go next door to 7 – 11 to get drinks since they typically have specials on some beverages.

i have been here many times. always satisfied!!. perfect brunch walk in. serves breakfast and lunch.(thats a plus for me). they have combos, a($ 5) one meat, combo b($ 6) 2, meats and 3 meats as well. also provide big menu to choose from.
i also love this place in the mornings!!! i have found myself calling in to make me a 4 of their huge breakfast croissants with bacon egg and cheese for like $ 4.each on busy mornings. they also make on bagels! .yummmm.the donuts surprisingly never tasted stale !! so a plus for donuts! now i rate 4 stars. only account of the noodles… cooked noodles cant be out to long under heating lamps. it gets a little dry. sometimes… and its not all the time. i just hated when it did taste a little dry with my rice. i like my noodles with a little juices for more flavor.

I feel this is closer to 3.5 stars. But because of the location and some menu items that weren’t so great… it is closer to O.K. This review is totally and completely for the beef and broccoli. It is legit. Meaning, if you fridge it for the next day, it doesn’t turn into a gooey mess. That tells me… very little corn starch. Other places, the minute you let it get cold, it will congeal into what essentially is a meat jell-o mold. This place is good for leftovers. The atmosphere at this corner is terrible. You’re at the purgatory of is it or isn’t it crap hole of Van Nuys. For instance, on my last visit, a woman in a minivan was screaming at her husband/boyfriend/john(?) to keep an eye out at this tweaker loitering in front of 7 – 11. It seemed like she knew who he was since she kept hollering«I know you Echo! I know you!(to guy in minivan) Keep an eye on this mofo! That’s Echo!» I’m guessing Echo’s pulled some shady shit in the past. And is a regular statue in front of the convenience store. However, Echo seemed to be confused. Leading me to believe, maybe the lady was nuts. It drives me crazy to figure out who to sidestep. Anyway, they charge you if you use a card and under $ 10.00($ 1.00). So bring cash.

I’m a big fan of fast food combo plate Chinese food places. The only problem is finding good ones. I decided to give this a place a try as I drive by it often. Some tip from another Unilocal’er said this place had amazing chicken wings so I had to try some. I ordered the Spicy Beef. This was awesome. Very flavorful and tender. The teriyaki chicken was a large portion and more juicy than most other combo plate Chinese food places. The only disappointment was the fried chicken wings. The batter was as hard as drywall. I will certainly come back for the other dishes just not the wings.

Stopped in pretty quickly for a snack. Eggrolls sounded great so I went inside with eggrolls in mind. I ordered a couple and left. I gotta say, eggrolls– not so good! Obviously they’re «home made» but the wrapping is a little thicker on one end than the other which is usually of no bother but I just so happened to get the old ones and this makes for a really crumbly eggrolls with too much crunch! Anyways, the place looked and smelled clean, which is good but I prefer a food smell. Like food that’s been cooking recently. The food on the steam table looked ok but I don’t think ill make it back here just to try the semi passable food. Eggrolls should be the easiest thing on the menu and to mess them up tells me there’s probably other things here I won’t like too much. Like orange chicken that’s too sweet instead of spicy.

This place is awesome. I was a little skeptical about Chinese food and donuts but both are very good. The owners/employees are all super nice. The inside isn’t fancy but it’s clean. It is exactly what I need for a quick breakfast(try the breakfast sandwiches) in the morning or lunch/dinner. I eat here a few times a week now
