This is our go to Denny’s. Upon arrival we noticed it was a little busier than normal for a Friday around 4pm. The guy at the front counter was also the host. He had a Togo order for a gentleman and helped him by taking his order to his vehicle. Which I thought was great customer service! We sat at the table for about 10 mins or so without anyone taking our drink order. The host/counter man walked up to our table, asked if anyone has taken our order? We said«no!» He assured he would take our order and was very apologetic — Andrew was his name because I was close enough to read is name badge and it’s also my brothers name. He told us that he’s the general manger, shared a little bit regarding the restaurant and he will be sure we’re taken care of. I understand that restaurants to get busy and sometimes days are off due to lack of staff. Andrew was very professional and kind. My mom and I both appreciate it and will be returning to his Denny’s soon! Diane was also our waitress that day. She rocks! Made it all Bette too! Thanks Andrew and Diane! See you soon!

Ordered country fried steak skillet with poached eggs. The cook dumped the poached egg on top of the broccoli with cheese sauce so now the waitress brought the dish of country fired skillet swimming in water. When I complained to the waitress, she told me because I ordered the eggs poached. Never again to this Denny’s in North Hollywood.

Randomly stopped by this place at 3am after work. Ordered sandwich with hash browns. Was surprised that my hash browns were served cold. I surely sent them back. The sandwich was ok, not great but palatable.

so, its seat yourself, then get ignored. 10 minutes in… I think they only had one waitress, and the soft drink machine SHOULD have been broken, but they were still using it. wife ordered a root beer, got something not root beer maybe diet coke … the root beer button on the machine was actually indicating the machine was out. I ordered a smoothie, what they are pushing right now. Instead of the large glass they normally come in, this smoothie came in a small juice glass, and was 2⁄3 full. I ordered soft scrambled eggs, and buttered white toast. I explained that I wanted SOFT scrambled, easy request, right? wife ordered a chicken quesadilla. cant mess that up right? WRONG! The waitress came back to the table and asked«what did you call that toast you wanted?» ummm white??? Eggs came hard scrambled and over cooked. Think re-constituted powdered eggs. not sure a hungry dog would eat them. The manager came over, and stated«those look like prefect hard scrambled eggs. what’s wrong?» yeah. not what I ordered. whole lot of nope, not eating them. waitress wanted me to show her a picture of soft scrambled. I tried to show her the menu. yeah. give up on that idea. give up, ask for food to go. 10 minutes later, the quesadilla comes. it is cold. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm contained several mystery items not normally found on a chicken quesadilla, like broken up breakfast sausage??? huh? it was so drenched in sausage grease the to go container had ¼ inch cold grease in it, ew smelled of bacon, and did not contain cheese. tortillas could not be chewed, they were stale, overcooked. due to the grease, you couldnt rip it apart with your teeth. final score, 2 small sausages, to small pieces of bacon, 4oz of smoothie, a handfull of bacon flavored chicken chunks …$ 15. dumpster fodder: everything else. really?

This is how much I love this particular Denny’s location. I live a block away and I would rather drive all the way over to the other side of North Hollywood and eat at the Denny’s on Burbank Boulevard. The last five times I’ve tried to eat a meal here, I walked out because after being seated by the hostess, no food server ever came to take my order. I would totally understand if it was rush hour and the place was packed with customers — but even on the weekends, there’s never a crowd waiting at this Denny’s. And I’m not talking about a five minute wait. More like ten or fifteen minutes. I’m not that impatient or self-important, and wouldn’t care if it was five minutes before the food server came to my table. But they never show up at all. The hostess seats you at a table, and then it’s game over. The only way to tolerate this Denny’s is to order over the phone and place an order to go that you can pick up and take home to eat. Unreal. Also, not that I really care, because like I said, I live a block away, but for the past six months, there’s been no Wi-Fi service at all at this Denny’s location.

Worst service ever, only reason why Im giving them a 1 star is because I can’t give them 0 stars. Took them 50 minutes to bring us an order of kids chocolate chip pancakes and a waffle, on top of that once we got seated it took them 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. It was ridiculous specially since it was so empty.

Nice Denny’s. There was just enough parking on a Veterans Day. Since there was a special for Veterans, we went for the free grand slam. Kind of a wait but at least the hash browns were great as usual. Friendly wait staff. Coffee was always full.

Thank you Denny’s! You made damn sure that I wouldn’t wait for my food. In fact, I didn’t even get a chance to order because as soon as you sat my family down and mumbled unintelligible words about our menu, you left. Never to return.

Norm’s down the street was jam-packed on a Friday morning… why that was, I am not sure. But, Denny’s had plenty of tables open — the food there is about the same anyway. My boy and I both got $ 6.79 Grand Slams and they were superb. If you’re on a diet, get a Grand Slam with oatmeal, egg whites, english muffin, and either hashbrowns(they aren’t greasy) or wheat pancakes(take those home with you.) They should include a beverage with it, coffee at least, but they don’t. The beverage orders pay employee salaries, I know, and I appreciate that. I have never had a bad dining experience at Denny’s, ever. And I don’t expect to. The waiter, can’t remember his name but he was a super nice Asian guy.

I don’t know why this particular location has such a low star rating but it’s by far my favorite! I always come here with my parents because my mom and dad absolutely love their hot coffee! The service is always good and so is the food! The wait is never long and most of the time we are seated right away! Their new banana French toast is to die for!

This Denny’s is ok, the asian lady at night could be more friendly. Jay is nice though. Sometimes they say that there’s free refills on iced coffee but sometimes they say they charge. ?? Which is it? Overall its pretty good. There’s a waitress there whos tall and she has short hair; she’s a bit too shy to be a waitress. I can’t hear what she says.

My fiancée and I haven’t had too much luck with Denny’s restaurants lately. We came to this one because the server at the last Denny’s we went to lied about my son’s breakfast being free on his birthday. It turns out that he had no idea what he was talking about. Now our service here wasn’t horrible, but I don’t think our server understood the need for urgency. A few times I found myself waiting for him to see my empty glass on the table. Then, to top if off, one of the managers began to chastise the two hosts, something that should have been handled one on one or in an office. I don’t venture out to hear who is not doing their job. I really miss living close to the Denny’s in Northridge. I could always count on great service there. I gave three stars because the staff was friendly and the food was good.

I am stuck in Denny’s hell! My family and I came out to enjoy a night of dinner. So they take us to be seated, they try and sit us again a wall, way in the back of the restaurant where we would have to sit side by side each other. There is a booth open, one large enough to fit my entire family but it hasn’t been cleaned since the last people left. They look as if I had asked them to make me golden pancakes when I asked if they could clean the booth large enough for my family where we would not be lined up as if we were having out last meal before facing the firing squad. So my family and I return to the front lobby and wait about ten minutes and then was told the table was clean. We sit, we began reviewing the menu’s and my eye catches a large chunk of pancake on the floor. I ignored it and continued reviewing the menu. Then, as I attempt to show something to my wife sitting across from me as my arm is restricted from moving forward as if it has become stuck in a vacuum of some sort! No! It was syrup stuck to the improperly cleaned table. I’m so pissed right now! Listen to this, at this point I am awaiting the lady to come back with my drinks and scanning the room for somewhere else to sit. She returns with the drinks and I tell her what happened and ask if we can move. Now the number of people in my family is 5. I sat my two youngest at one table and my 17 yr old and my wife and I were going to sit in the booth behind them. I was told that I could not! That my entire family had to sit at the little table designed for 4 people. I wanted to leave, my wife wanted to stay and got mad at me! So I sit here in Denny’s right now, pissed, I refuse to eat, I refuse to drink this drink they brought me and to keep the peace I let my wife and children go ahead and eat but I will eat somewhere else. Shame on you Denny’s
