Sorry Daphne’s but I’m done with you after tonight. I live just a few blocks away and lately have been popping in from time to time. I always found them pricey for what you get, which is very mediocre and sometimes sub par with small portions and cheap ingredients, but serviceable. Tonight I wanted chicken & fries. I was craving fries, which I rarely eat but decided to indulge. So I ordered the chicken pita & fries. It cost $ 10. TENDOLLARS. What came to my table was a chicken pita with literally a few fries on the plate. There were so few fries that it was almost laughable. For $ 10, I probably should have sent it back but I was hungry and just wanted to eat. But Daphne’s, ya blew it. To their credit, the chicken pita was fresh and pretty good, but for $ 10, I expect more than ¼ order of fries. It made me wonder if they didn’t like me or something and that was the staff’s way of showing it, or if what was on my plate really was their portion size. It was pretty laughable.

This is a sorry excuse for Greek Food. It’s fast food. WTFalafel? That’s NOT falafel.

Just came back from my first meal at Daphne’s. I had the Cali Pita with gyros as my meat option and a bottle of coconut water as my drink. I must say that I was very pleased with my meal. I found it filling, flavorful and fresh, despite that I showed up at 8:30 pm, about thirty minutes before closing.(The fries within the pita were particularly delicious.) The service was nothing to complain about. There seemed to be only one person working the«front of the house», and I found her pleasant. I left so full that I didn’t even touch my water. I would definitely go back.

Ordered on Postmates and was very unhappy with the food I got. There was barely any meat and so little food. It was expensive so I was very unhappy with that fact. The flavors were alright but definitely not worth the price.

My brother and I picked up 2 combo meals last night from the N Hollywood location; horrible. Whatever this is supposed to be, it is in no way Greek food. Awful ‘chicken schwarma’, felafel that must have been frying for hours, weird tasting hummus; one of the worst meals we’ve ever paid good money for…

Giving 1 star is waaaay too generous!!! Ordered a delivery for 20 people… Only fed 7 – 8 maxed. Terrible!!! Totalled ripoff for almost $ 200.00… Which consist of a large salad and 2 sampler platter. The portion was very small… It’s rediculous!!! We had to ordered pizzas to feed the crew!!!

Came with a friend and we ordered the Cali-Greek bowl. On menu, the plate sounded delicious. The presentation was also exceptional. When we started eating, we felt that there was too much going on. Very heavy on the onions. The chicken was really good, and the pita, rice & beans, was my friends favorite part. For anyone who gets this dish I recommend light onions and the sauces on the side. I feel that if I we’re able to control the amount of items added to my meal, it would have definitely been a greater experience. Over all I was not disappointed though. The service was amazing and the cashier was very knowledgeable.

Ordered the Mediterranean salad to go, and it was delicious! The salad was fresh and tasty, and large enough that I had more than enough to polish off later. Excellent, friendly service too!

My first experience at Daphne’s was fantastic the food was good the waitresses were so friendly and nice and upbeat. I will go back again. I just hate that they closed at 9 but you can still stay till 9 they won’t put you out. They want you to take your time and enjoy your food which is kind of nice.

I told an L.A. friend that we went to this place my first night in town and he kind of laughed and said it wasn’t the best — however, I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered some sort of sundried tomato wrap, and I got it with chicken shwarma and the rice on the side, plus a soft drink(included in the combo). It was about $ 10 which is a little pricey, but not by CA standards. Their drink machine(though not a Coke FreeStyle machine) had flavors you could add which was yummy, I got a Diet Coke and added vanilla. This place was close by to our hotel and overall my meal was really good, so I would return if ever in the area.

First time coming here but definitely not the last. We were greeted at the door immediately and had our ordered taken with a smile. The staff really impressed me here. Quick, efficient and genuine. The food was the icing on the cake. I had the pita with grilled chicken and this thing was packed full of chicken! My girlfriend had the grilled chicken bowl and that was also amazing. The prices were very reasonable and were actually surprising for the amount of food you receive. Great value! The restaurant had a good atmosphere and it was very clean. This place is definitely a gem!

I love Daphne’s, the best lemon chicken soup ever especially at this location, the soup has the right amount of rice which not all Daphnes does. This is one of my favorite places for a quick meal without paying a fortune. Everything is so fresh tasting when I get it. I have tried pretty much everything here and it is all great. The portion sizes are perfect you get what you pay for and I am always full when I leave. I have been to the other locations but the one on Lankershim is my favorites and I have to give a shout out to Yolanda, she is so nice and she remembers me every time I come in and that says a lot about her customer service skills as I am sure she has a lot of people come in daily. A definite must visit for anyone that has never been here before.

Wow, 2 shrimp gyros meals with withered lettuce and french fries. Wow more pita bread and veggies but hardly no shrimp. I remember Daphne’s being a good place to eat. Paying a certain amount of money you expect certain expectations. Not at Daphne’s. I rather have gotten a 7 – 11 hot dog. I will never be visiting any Daphne’s locations anymore. Daphne’s Corp. Take a look at the reviews of all your locations.

If you like tasty fresh food… Don’t come to this daphnes. I called ahead my order and the girl answering the phone just sounded confused and preoccupied. I should have known from that point what I was in for. I ordered a chicken kabob plate with salad and rice. The kabobs were super tiny and tasted dry and the rice was extremely oily/greasy. I asked for no onions on the plate. They took them off the salad but left them on the kabob. Logic? He wants no onions but yet we will leave them on the kabob but not the salad. The pita bread it came with was dry and hard. I also asked for a small side of feta and they wanted to charge me almost $ 1 for it after my crappy meal already costs $ 10. Had I not been on my lunch break and in a hurry and hungry I would have returned it and got my money back. There’s plenty of good places to eat in Noho. Don’t waste your time or money here.

This place is right across the street from where I live and I have always had a great experience when visiting this location. The good: Always so clean when I come in. Friendly staff Yummy food Food is usually prepared correctly and doesn’t take forever The Bad: The menu keeps changing on me! But if you talk to the manager(or maybe owner? he seems to always be working, shaved head and black shirt) well talk to him, I think his name is Corey, he makes good recommendations if you’re looking for an alternative or if you cant decide I guess its good to keep your menu up to date with new items, I just miss my pita burgers and cookies! The manager/owner guy is great, always so friendly and greets me with a smile. Takes care of any concerns that come up. Theres a lot of places around this area that don’t have friendly service, so its refreshing to come and get great customer service.

Im rating this place for what it is… A Chain Fast Food Restaurant. My expectancies were not of a 5 star restaurant… although the service here was better than some 5-star restaurants I have been to. I got my good at a decent amount of time. I had a taste for some inexpensive fast greek food… and it is exactly what I got. The typical Americanized gyro(not the real one you find in Greece which is layers of meat). The fire feta was something I had not tried before, it was surprisingly good! One thing I don’t get is the lettuce in the gyro, it must be an American thing! I was satisfied, and topped it with a baklava for desert. Bathrooms? They need work, it’s were this place lost a star… I will be back, to this or any other Daphne’s for that matter.

I love Greek food, so it pains me to write a bad review of a place. Yes, I know it’s technically fast food and not Great Greek or Le Petit Greek. But I’ve had Daphne’s before, and this location is not it. As a chain: –The portion sizes are crazy small. You order a combo thinking you’re going to get a decent amount of food, consisting of 4 different dishes, and then you are left with a grumbling stomach. –There’s really nothing special on the menu. I’ve hemmed and hawed about what to order here, all because it looks bland and boring.(Spoiler alert: it is.) This location: –Slow, slow, slow. I’ve been here in a rush and it’s taken forever, and I’ve ordered to-go here and been delayed. Not worth it. –Dry food. Every dish is dry. The couscous will make you thirsty. The chicken needs to be drenched in sauce. My throat is itching just thinking about the falafel. And the gyro will have you panting, like a dehydrated man in a desert searching for his oasis. –Order errors. This is mostly a takeout thing but every time I’ve gotten it here they’ve forgotten something, like a soup or pita. Pita I can live without since it’s free and minuscule, but when you pay extra for a soup and they don’t remember to put it in your bag, it’s not cute. The one redeeming quality of this place — just one — is the lemon chicken soup. I don’t even want to call it Avgolemono, since it’s a soggy sad version of it. But when your knockoff soup is the best part of the menu, you know you need to revamp the food.

No check in, left phone… Nice quick n easy spot, place is clean which is a must when eating on the fly for me. Lol I enjoyed the mix match, for quick n easy, it was tasty, and fresh. When having a meeting and need something healthy, this is a good place to start.

Disappointing, low quality, and left hunggggrrryyy! $ 8.99 Mix and match combo allows you to pick 2 main items that comes with skimpy amount of rice, greek salad, and pita. I chose the beef and chicken kebab. The beef was tough and the chicken dry. The cashier mentioned it would take 10 minutes which was time only to warm up pre-cooked kebabs. The rice was flavorless and the salad with barely any green. The water was all you can drink. That’s was the best thing here. I won’t be back.
