Went in for the first time today and was very pleased. The place is small and cozy. They have parking in the back. Nancy did a fantastic job with my combination massage! Loved the hot stones and warm oils. I feel ten times better. She new exactly where the knots were and was very gently at the same time. I can’t wait to go back !

Love this place! The best Thai massage in town at a great price. Ask for Tina and the 90 min is $ 60, which is definitely worth it. There is a small parking lot out back, but don’t park in the street M-​F between 4−7pm.

Friendly — almost bubbly — receptionist … nice-​smelling reception area … friendly (and strong!) masseuse who listened to my request for lower-​back and hamstring focus and gave me a pretty intense experience but knew when to back off. Left feeling relaxed and in much less pain than when I got there, so mission: accomplished.

Definitely the best massage in town and it’s an authetic thai massage w/​the parallel bars overhead and hot stones. Some places claim thai massage because they incorporate stretching but Chan Thai is the real deal.
For $ 40, you get an amazing 1 hr massage in a private room ($ 60 for 90 minutes) They stretch you and walk on you and somehow their small, but firm hands work out every little kink and knot. (Jenny is my favorite)
I’ve been getting massages for years — i’ve had traditional, chinese, thai, a fusion of the two — expensive, dirt cheap. I’ve tried them all and nothing has compared to this hole in the wall.
They take walk-​ins, but if you’re going on a Saturday or Sunday it might be wise to call ahead because they can get pretty busy.

For my birthday my mother took me here. It’s a dodgy looking storefront in an equally dodgy neighborhood and I wasn’t too sure what she was getting me into… I had no clue it would be such a magical experience! Nancy was my massage therapist and she was fantastic. She asked me if I’d ever had a Thai massage and I said no, she told me to just relax and I followed her direction. Just a tip if you’ve never had Thai massage, if you are the modest type, this may not be the massage for you. You will be in just your underwear bottoms with a small towel covering you… And the towel will not be covering much for very long. However, of you’re like me and you don’t care about modesty this is simply amazing. Nancy gave me a fantastic massage with oil, hot towels, and hot stones. She focused quite a but of attention on my neck and shoulders, where I had mentioned being especially tense. She then stretched me every which way, and even cracked my back in the process. I loved that she was not worried about offending me by uncovering my body or massaging areas like my inner thighs that as it turned out really needed some massage. I left there feeling like I had just had a chiropractic adjustment, like my circulation was improved, and extremely relaxed. I felt like a million bucks but it only cost $ 39 for an hour! I added a $ 15 tip on top of that and it was still a phenomenal deal. Highly recommended to anyone who wants an amazing massage at an amazing price.
