Awful! Awful! Awful! Wish I would have sued him for malpractice!

I visited this guy twice on Wilshire Blvd and he is the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. I was hit by a car months ago and my lawyer set up an appt with this orthopedic. He barely examined me and even had the nerve to yell at me when performing the exam. My foot wasn’t placed correctly where he could check my reflexes and he rudely yelled for me to straighten it. This was all in the first visit. He prescribed physical therapy for me and quickly told me to leave. Beforehand, I asked if my shoulder was going to recover and he said I don’t know. He gave me no hope and I walked away from his office in tears. The second and last visit was in order to follow up and he was just as rude then so I guess he’s just an asshole. It wasn’t a bad day. I’d give this guy 0 stars if I could. Avoid him at all costs.

I have had knee issues since I was a teen and have gone through 3 knee operations through the years. Dr Broukhim has saved me from surgery twice now. I had a miniscus tear on my right knee and 5 years ago he injected it with cortisone and it has not had an issue since. I seriously didnt think it would work, but it did. Today, Dr Broukhim again had to inject my knee(the other one) with cortisone. He numbed it perfectly and then gave the shot. I have had this done by other doctors and none has been as gentle or accurate as Dr Broukhim. Beyond his skills in injecting my knee, his staff is awesome. I was seen on time, the nurse was super nice and made calls so that I could get the treatment I needed right away. I would recommend this man to anyone for orthopedic surgery. He is great.

I had a car accident 5 months ago and after having an MRI needed to be seen by a surgeon. Dr. Behrooz has bad breath first of all which is really uncomfortable. He told me I needed to do exercises but until I asked did not refer me to a physical therapist. I work with physicans and know patient care and his definitely leaves something to be desired.
