The lady here is awesome! Service is fast and the food is good and inexpensive. I mostly grab breakfast here. Condiments are at the front and to the left, always have been.

Pastor and aside tacos are good. Quick service but no condiments to pack up with. Jugo de Pina is bomb too!

I’m the first review? That’s a surprise. El Rachero Chido is a small Mexican joint on the seemingly always-busy Parthenia and Sepulveda intersection situated next to a swap meet store that loudly boasts«XXX Toys» outside on a sign. Nonetheless, I walked in craving a good chicken burrito — expecting something good and something spicy. The restaurant was empty as I passed a Mexican jukebox on my way to the register. Soon, a girl from the back of the kitchen quickly walked up and said hello. I asked her to make a recommendation and she said«Tacos…enchiladas. Yes, everything good.» I laughed and realized she either didn’t know what I meant by recommendation or just wasn’t very good with them and just ordered my initial craving: a chicken burrito. No onions, of course. After I paid, she retreated to the back of the kitchen again and a man came out to make my food. He asked me how I was doing, made small talk — nice guy. I repeated my order to him, asking him to make it spicy and without onions. Within a couple of minutes, I had my burrito and I was out the door for about ~$ 4.50. For the size of the burrito, I started to think that it was a little pricey. The burrito with chicken, peppers, rice, beans, cheese, and hot sauce, was incredibly good but after my hunger was subdued, thoughts of the price versus the size came back after I was left unsatisfied. Still, I’ll probably nonetheless be back to try some of the more unusual items there as the menu is more than just your typical tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and tostados.
