Amazing customer service. The girl at the drive thru today 5⁄17 at 11:45am was amazing. Our order was repeated back to us several times to ensure accuracy. She was super polite and friendly. Our order was obviously 100% accurate and delicious Hot and Fresh!

Yes, the food is amazing! But the customer service is also great! Ibriahim, was a very funny and helpful guy! He helped me pick out the best items as it was my first time at Popeyes. Definitely love this place!

Yeah, I went there with my 8 year old cousin on thursday, March 3rd… a little before 7pm. Spicy chicken was not spicy, it room temp, crusty hard as a rock, virtually flavorless. My young cousin had a hard time biting into his chicken leg, he thought the red beans and rice was soup(very runny) flat flavor. Biscuits were room temp(but it was the only thing my cousin liked). He had to go ask for butter because the server only offered honey or awful tasting cayenne sauce. 1 leg, 1 thigh(«spicey») 2 small red beans and rice, no drinks, came to $ 8.39(the Biscuits were«free»). To top it off. There was only one other diner, but all the tables except one, we’re dirty! Expensive poorly prepared Luke warm food sucks. And waaaay too expensive. Sorry, had a bad experience at this location 5 years ago, and nothings changed.

Those are good friendly fast staffs here at Popeyes. Also, the foods are good and very reliable prices. It’s very clean inside the fast food restaurant.

I’m not a big fan of chicken but the food here is great! The chicken was fresh and came out on time. Omg the biscuits are the most delicious thing at Popeyes. The red beans and rice is a must. You can’t go wrong with that. I see that there’s several bad reviews on here but thats the typical north highlands 9 to 5 worker who hates Their job, comes here after a bad day expecting a five star restaurant service to bow down & kiss their feet. Smh. People these days…

I love Popeyes in general, but I’m not off to a good start with my first two visits here. Both times, I’ve waited in line longer than I ever have at any other Popeyes. Both times, mistakes were made. The first time, I asked for the $ 4.99 three strips combo(which is a promotion they’re no longer offering). The guy taking my order tried to sell me a more expensive combo, and I had to correct him, but he might have just not been familiar with the promotion yet, so that’s fine. Then I asked twice for sauces, honey, and butter(yeah I go all out), but still got none, and didn’t want to wait another 15 minutes in the drive through, and really don’t enjoy my chicken and biscuits without those things, so that just kinda felt like a waste of money to me. The second time, I did get all of the aforementioned items, but they gave me mild chicken instead of spicy, and, again, I just didn’t like it. Both times, the chicken tasted less fresh to me than it usually does at Popeyes. And, both times, I felt that I was given small portions of mashed potatoes, which are actually like 90% of the reason I come here. If you haven’t tried their mashed potatoes yet, you’re missing out on life. I can see myself trying them out again since I have a friend who lives nearby, but so far, this location has been a miss.

What a joke! These people are horribly rude and Popeyes advertised a special for Veterans Day Friday the 13th only and the store won’t honor it. Obviously they don’t care about their veterans or their customers or corporate policies

We decided last minute to grab some Popeye’s Chicken to munch on while watching Sunday Night Football since our usual go to at Mountain Mike’s Pizza’s wait time was an hour and 15 minutes just for pick up and everyone was super hungry. We ordered their 16 piece family meal that comes with 8 biscuits and 3 large sides. They were out of macaroni & cheese and their sweet southern ice tea. Such a bummer since the kids and adults were all looking forward to both. We ended up getting Cajun rice, fries, and mashed potatoes along with Hawaiian fruit punch instead. Max at the drive through window was really nice and apologetic about the various items they were out of but overall we didn’t mind since their chicken is still as good as any other Popeye’s we’ve been to. They have the best crispy skin ever. And, as proof that there were no hiccups there was hardly any leftovers to clean up afterwards.

I’ve been coming here for months so I know what I’m talking about. Overall, the food and service is just OK. The problem is the lack of customer service. No one working there, including the owner, has any personality. They never smile. They are never friendly. They advertise their sauces but usually don’t offer them — you have to ask. Today I asked for my usual two barbecue sauces to go with my chicken tenders and was told I would have to pay for the second one. How cheap is that? Doubt I’ll go back.

Watt Avenue location has absolute trash service. Completely incompetent staff including management. Make the trip the one on Antelope Rd. Worth the extra gas. Never go here. If you are the owner and you are reading this, FIREYOURSTAFF.

This place has nothing but Russia separateness working here. They obviously showed a lot of hate because I’m Ukrainian. I feel like I have to beg for them to give me some chicken that’s not spicy! All I wanted was some chicken that doesn’t burn my mouth.

Why is it when I go to any Popeye’s Chicken, I always over order and then I regret it after I see how much I ordered and paid for? This trip was nonetheless the same recurring outcome. I order and order and order and then pay and then regret. When will I learn? My boys were done with practice and I was craving chicken but I didn’t want KFC. I definitely wanted mashed potatoes but I wanted something with a kick. I wanted some dirty rice and some rice and beans. There was only one place I could think of that was close by the area we were in and it was Popeye’s. This place was a little difficult to find since it was dark. Luckily there are other food eateries around. That made it less intimidating to come down this way to order some food I was craving where KFC probably could’ve pacified my hunger for some chicken. After ordering, I had to wait for my food since either they ran out or there was just a ton of people that had the same exact idea I did and didn’t want to cook. Either way the wait was short and they brought out the food to me and even double checked that it was indeed my order they were handing to me and not someone else’s. I appreciated that gesture. Anyway, I ordered the chicken(of course), the biscuits, corn, rice and beans, dirty rice, chicken po boy, chicken strips/nuggets and a large mashed potatoes. My son doesn’t like veggies with this sandwiches so I asked for the po boy to be plain… mayo, bun and chicken. They happily obliged and my son loved it. The rest of the meal didn’t last once we got home and attacked it. The mashed potatoes had that extra little kick I needed. The chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. I think I over did it eating since I couldn’t remember just how many pieces I actually consumed. The biscuits are always fluffy and buttery and yummy. Add in some butter and honey and you’ve got yourself a little biscuit party in my tummy. The corn, rice and beans and dirty rice pretty much just made the meal complete. Without these additions, my food would’ve been just like any other fast food chicken spot. I do wish there was one closer to where I live. I like variety. You can only have so much KFC chicken. I want me some popeye’s.

was told after paying for my meal to pull foward and wait 6 minutes for chicken strips. I waited 23 minutes and finally asked for a manager. The manager(william) came out and I was very upset, he explained to me that the wait time is more like 15 minutes. I then asked for a coporate number and he said he will write it down when he brings my food out which was just being finished. I waited an additional 14 minutes for a total of 37 min when a young girl came out apologising with my order in hand. I then asked for the manager again. He came out and I asked him«why would he send out a teenager to an very upset customer who had been waiting over 30 minutes for an order and who you promised to bring out food and coporate number. His response was«I am very busy». I then checked food which was missing the condiments I requested and the box was wet from greese. I let him know I was very upset and had a long day at work with children at home who were waiting for dinner and I believe the service I received was horrible and he as a manager was not taking responsibility. I also asked for a refund and was told to give back all the food and he will refund my money. I asked for the corporate and the owners numbers number and was told I can call 1800-Popeyes and given the restaurant phone number. I called the number thinking I was getting an outside number and William(the manager I had been dealing with) answered and told me his boss wasn’t in. I asked for a person above his boss and was told it’s a franchise and his boss was the top. I am very upset of how I was treated and the lack of empathy he showed as well as the lack of leadership he displayed for his employees. I waited a total of 37 minutes for my food and drove away very upset. If it wasn’t for my kids being hungry I would have drove away along time ago. Is this what Popeyes represents?

So I’ve been to this Popeyes a few times, and every time I’m there someone isn’t straight foreword with me. Every time I ask for mayo, they either give me some or they say they don’t have any. Last time I went here, which was a few nights ago, the two people that helped me were really rude and unprofessional. They told me that they don’t carry mayo. After they said that they have it but weren’t allowed to give me any, I told them that I was going to give them a bad review, that they were being super rude and the guy replied with a smart response and said GOAHEAD! WORSTSERVICEEVER. Never had anyone be as rude to me as the employees at this location. Any other Popeyes ever went to never had any problems giving me what I want.

I’ve eaten here a few times, and there better then some chicken restaurants that I’ve eaten at. I love there biscuits, and mash potatoes, there coleslaw is delicious. There chicken is always cooked through, where as I have been to some restaurants that have blood still seeping, oozing, out the bones(gross) some have made me sick. I love coming here time to time, and there always friendly and clean establishment. I’ve seen some in the Bay Area, that have dirty smelly bathrooms, and the homeless would sit outside asking for change if not left overs. I avoid places like that, no matter how hungry I am for chicken.

Ordered 3 piece meal(original) with side of mac and cheese via drive thru. PROS…Chicken was tender, juicy, and lightly breaded to a crisp but not burnt. Mac and cheese was thick and creamy. CONS…Chicken portions were small and thin, without much meat. All in all, food was above average and will probably go back again to try the jambalaya with white meat chicken and sausage just to switch it up.
