This was the first and last time I ever go to this restaurant. The food was terrible & overpriced. The staff was very unprofessional from the time we walked to the door except for our waitress who seemed like a nice person but when told about the issues with our food did absolutely nothing about it, she was obviously poorly trained. I’ve driven by this place hundreds of times and always wondered what it’s like, well now I know, this place is one huge fail.

Not impressed at all. The sushi was good; service was horrible, atmosphere just okay. My date and I sat at the bar and waited 45 minutes for soup that never came. We asked the bartender about the oysters and some other dishes and never came back to take the order. Glasses sat empty for about a half hour(luckily my date was cute and interesting to talk to). We won’t be going back-ever. Very disappointed.

Do yourself a BIG favor. Do NOT waste your time or money. If you think you may get your money back for your extremely disappointing dinner… Try talking to the owner! What a douche bag!!! I’ve never been so amazed by an owner that could be such an asshole. It blows my mind that this place is even in business.

Hosted a large group(19 people) for a Sunday morning brunch. Started with an excellent cream of crab and asparagus soup that was piping hot and absolutely delicious! They have quite a selection of Benedicts, including several with crab cakes. Most of us seemed to gravitate to the Surf & Turf Benedict that included a perfectly cooked and tender filet on one muffin, and a crabcake on the other. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the Hollandaise sauce tasted just right. Even the home fries were wonderful! Out of curiosity I checked out the wine list and was very impressed — some of the best wines from Napa Valley, Stag’s Leap, Silver Oak and Opus One just to name a few. We will be back!

Avoid at all cost. Extremely rude. They don’t care about customers. Would never go back.

Best restaurant in this quaint little town. It’s located in the center of town and has a charming bar(for the gentleman who need a place to chill while their better half shops) with a wide selection of adult beverages. The menu will accommodate most everyone’s taste buds. Our sever was excellent~ 3 days new to the job~ so professional~ Amanda was her name~ So lovely. I had Sushi and all the oysters they offered on the menu, shared with my husband. Everything was delicious and the prices were on point. We have been here several times and I think it just gets better with each visit.

Food was exceptional especially the filet with crab. The blacken salmon was also perfectly done. The waitress Melissa was fun and courteous. Would come back.

I will start by saying this restaraunt came highly recommended. We were told that they had great sushi and that last night(Thurs night) was half off sushi night. We were just in the area for the day and were very excited to try this restaurant. I can not give it above a 1 star though because we were not able to actually eat there.(Families with small children will need to bring a portable high chair if they want to eat at this place.) We have an 8 year old and a 15 month old. The baby is unable to eat at a table without some form of a high chair or booster seat. When we got to the restaraunt we were told that they do not have high chairs. We were very disappointed and walked out to leave and noticed that their large outdoor seating area only had 2 tables being used. So we went back inside and asked to be seated outside and said we would use the baby’s stroller in place of a high chair and we were told that they don’t allow stroller’s. The two girls at the hostess station did not even attempt to offer us a possible solution, they just said«sorry», shrugged their shoulders and went on talking amongst themselves. We were definitely given the feeling that children were not welcome. We were greatly disappointed because we were so looking forward to having a meal there, and what we saw on people’s plates looked delicious. But this is definitely not a family friendly place… at least not the night we were there. We ended up walking right down the street to a seafood restaraunt on the same side of the road and had a great meal that the whole family enjoyed.

We stopped here to eat yesterday because we saw it on man versus food show. My bf ordered the special. An 18oz rib eye. He ordered it medium rare. It came out medium well. He never complains. Never sends anything back but this steak cost 60.00. For 60.00 it should be cooked the way he wanted it. Sent it back. This time it came out so rare it was not edible The cook told the server that because it is dry aged it won’t look medium rare. It will be brown. I work in a restaurant This is not true. he cooked it rare and sent it back out. We took it home and did it on the grill medium rare. And for 60.00 it was not tender either. Probably won’t ever go back. No kind of compensation. I thought the cook was very rude. Obviously doesn’t know how to cook

If you are a foodie, like me, who loves good food you would probably like the food at this place. However, if you are a consumer who likes to support small business who treat their customers as valued individuals… you wshould NEVER patronize this establishment. On several occasions I have heard how poorly the owner treats his employees, and seen how the staff turns customers away for not wearing“proper” attire, and reserved seating for the owners“friends” which I never saw occupied(guess this guy doesn’t actually have friends!). For years, against my better judgement I patronized this restaurant. Until today, when my daughter and me were made victims of the owners foul customer service. We ordered crab dip, and the toast was too crunchy for my teeth, that were recently cleaned. I asked for new toast that would not be baked. The owner came out and told me that the toast was perfect and told me that I did not need new toast, and suggested we leave. I don’t know how he stays in business, but I won’t be spending my hard earned money with a business owner who treats people poorly. Definitely do Woody’s or The Wellwood for service and food that deserve your time and money.

Had dinner last night for an early Valentine’s, great food, service was awesome. Unique menu choices, Chilean sea bass, farro, Brussels etc… dessert was yummy too.

My Aunt and I came here for lunch on a friday afternoon. The place was empty. We were seated in the dining area and it was so tacky. For lunch I had«Roast Turkey Shaved thin on toasted sour dough with applewood bacon, tomato, arugula, cheddar and honey-maple aioli». I put it in quotes because it didn’t have the supposed honey-maple aioli-it was simply mayo-the bread was not on toasted sour dough. The turkey was dry and the bread was stale. I had one of my Aunt’s french fries and they where an odd taste and texture. I will never come back here-it was entirely a joke for the cost of the meal.

Came here for Sunday brunch with some friends. We were a little nervous about the wide variety of menu options — usually means not so good food. However we were nicely surprised — California rolls were spot on, pumpkin bisque was rich and very flavorful. My Cobb salad was fresh and the filet mignon benedict that everyone else got was delicious — with homemade hollandaise sauce. That said, the interior really needs renovation — bathroom stalls the size of a phone booth, scary old, dirty carpet. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful day.

Walked in because we couldn’t find the hostess and immediately got yelled at by the manager because we had coffee with us. We turned right back around and left. Would much rather take our business elsewhere!

This restaurant seemed nice from the outside but the manager/owner is a total di&k. This place is not kid friendly, the food is overpriced, and the seafood is not that fresh for the area. The bathroom is disgusting and bar smelt like stale beer. The bar scene is fitting for this depressing place since the patrons were lost souls watching an uneventful baseball game. My wife and I went on a monday before the 4th of July and got the crab dip, sushi rolls, and oysters two ways(raw and Rockefeller). During the meal, my wife and I got scolded at by the manager for no reason. I think he’s a bitter old man, possibly a racist. My wife was so upset that it ruined our meal. I talked to him after the we paid, and he continued to be rude, unapologetic, and did not appreciate my business. What a piece of work. Bottom Line: Go to Woodys next door for better food, value, staff, and atmosphere.

Wow. Maybe I should have capitalized every letter! WOW. So I came here for my buddy’s birthday. His missus saw the place on tv for food challenge. I don’t watch TV so, I never heard about this famous challenge — Eat five pounds of meat cuts cooked to perfection, including Sirloin, Filet Mignon, and much more. If you finish everything, this $ 140 platter is on the house and you get $ 100 bucks I think. Well, I don’t eat like I used to so there was no way I wanted to try the challenge myself. I ordered house recommended steak with mushrooms sauce. The taste was impeccable. And for the quality of the plate and classy ambiance, the price is actually very reasonable compared to your high end steak house. And if you are a big eater, you could try getting paid to eat… or boost your cholesterol levels. Oh, by the way, my boy made his face on the way of fame, not shame! He managed to get everything in(but it came back up shortly after)!
