This winery has really delicious and unique wines. Love your new blueberries line of wine selection. If your into wine making they have all the supplies and knowledge to help you thru it. Thanks to Doug Moorhead and crew for your wine seminar this past weekend.

We did a tasting for $ 2. You get to try 6 wines. Every one we tried was delicious ! We ended up purchasing 3 bottles for $ 40. We brought a chilled bottle down by the waterfall and enjoyed a glass on a beautiful fall day. The staff was ok. could have been friendlier and more informative. But all in all I had a great time.

Tiny tasting room. Like the size of your bedroom. Tasting counter space for 6 people. We visited on Columbus Day weekend. And it was a beautiful weekend. The kind that gets people out and exploring. There were only 2 people working. That’s for the tasting room, the front register, and the café! And I think the woman waiting tables was also the cook. It’s a holiday fall weekend — you really need to plan staffing better. We didn’t eat here nor look at the menu but I did over hear the tasting hostess say the menu was very limited because it was just the 2 of them. Wines were good. $ 2 for 6 tastes and there’s a Unilocal check in for a free tasting. Again tiny tasting area and by the time we left people were 2 deep.

We did a tasting here yesterday. 6 tastings for $ 2 is great in my opinion. We settled on 2 bottles from their selection of «blues», which are blueberry wines and were very tasty: Royal Blue, which is a semi-dry and had a lot of intricate flavors. One of those wines that keeps changing as you sip. And then a bottle of BluSecco, a sparkling Italian blend that’s nice, sweet and refreshing. They gave us a big box we could use if we hit other wineries and picked up more bottles. The ladies there were friendly, but a little too quiet for my taste. I wouldn’t have minded if they had given us a spiel on our choices or made suggestions to give us some direction but they kind of just kept quiet and let us do our own thing. No pressure to buy, but we didn’t need any. The wines were affordable, some bottles at just 10.99. How could you NOT buy a bottle? After our tasting we picked up a few wine slushies for $ 5 and drove down a little driveway to another parking lot by one of the outbuildings. If you walk down towards the little creek at the far end of the lot, you’ll see the«waterfalls» which are pretty laughable when compared to pretty much any other waterfall you’ve ever seen. They’re about the same as the«waterfalls» in the creek behind my house growing up. Still, it’s a super pretty area, and I don’t blame them for putting up a waterfalls sign to get people to go down there, because it is a lovely spot to sip your wine slushy. There’s a little picnic table you can hang out at, and when you’re done you can walk along the creek or skip rocks. Not gonna lie, skipping rocks kept us here way longer than the wine tasting took. The rocks were so perfect for it and we were getting so good that it got kind of addictive. «Ok, one more rock and then we can go.» «Wait that one sucked, let me try again…» Ahh the simple things in life!

Friendly staff and great wine! Went with my husband and when we first arrived they were extremely busy(to be expected on a Sunday afternoon) but as the crowd thinned a little we were able to talk more to the woman doing the tastings and she was very friendly and easy to talk to. My husband is new to wine but likes dry red and he enjoyed all of his samples, especially the Syrah. He even bought a bottle of the Hot Kisses! It is a Thai pepper ice wine that you just have to try, I’ve never had anything like it! I drink sweet wines and my favorites were the Creekside Blush & Concord and a new one called BluSecco which was an amazing blueberry sparkling wine. Definitely a must stop while checking out Erie wineries! They have something for everyone!

Really nice business. They have a tasting room and café in a cute old house, as well as beer and wine making supplies in another area. The wines were good and were the best tasting deal of the wineries we went to; 6 for $ 1! The woman who did our tasting was extremely friendly and gave us info on their wines as well as wine-making in Pennsylvania.

We stopped here on our way home to Ohio from a fishing trip in New York. While in New York we went on wine tastings to several wineries along the Niagara Trail. Although the New York wines were good, Presque Isle’s wines were phenomonal! We are partial to dry red wines and there was a whole list to choose from! Each wine on the list was better than the next. We loved that they had some interesting red wines made from grapes we’d never heard of too(the Marquette is amazing!) The old house that houses the wine tasting room and gift shop is quaint and comfortable. A quiet walk by the waterfall rounded out a romantic Friday afternoon. We didn’t sample the food but we intend to return when we have more time. We took home 2 bottles and lots of fun gifts!

The best wines on our mini-tour of Lake Erie wineries this location is well worth the stop. Our server had the broadest knowledge of wines and wine making of the wineries that we sampled. The tasting room is a bit small but the converted home was old world wood quaint. One tip: the entrance is a bit small and hidden. If you have a GPS use Catholic cemetery rd as a cross street to help you find your turn.

we were fortunate enough to visit on aug 31, which was the last day they wouldn’t charge for wine tasting. no charge to sample all the wines you want! woohoo! they had some very unique ones, as well as their versions of the local standards. the lady working the samples was very sweet and really knew her wines. she was able to suggest ones we might like based on our reactions to the previous sample. the gift shop here was also great. i got some gifts for my friends, and they have these amazing candles that smell like different wines. the cab sab smells so good! we didn’t try the food, but the menu looked excellent. gyro pizza?! i will be back for that…
