Loved this winery! A must stop for people in the new Bedford area. We stopped by and enjoyed the live music and wine. You are encouraged to bring your own cheese and crackers and enjoy the afternoon here.

We stopped here while visiting New Bedford. Was so glad we stopped in. Music by Steve and Dave. Fun wine tasting with a lot of description. Found three we really like. Love the dry Vidal Blanc 2014 and the Ruby Port style Desert Wine. Weren’t many people there when we arrived at 2:30 but by 4:0o place was full of people. Tables. where you can bring in cheese crackers, any snacks and get a bottle wine(which we did) and listen to music.

We are becoming regulars at Running Brook Vineyards. Ian is a great host and Pedro is a great wine maker! Great flavor, generous pours, and great variety!

Great wine, great people. The owners are very friendly and personable, and the live music is always great. Overall great atmosphere. I love stopping by for a quick tasting, or getting bottles of my fave, Vidal Blanc. This place is charming and a must for wine lovers in the area!

Great Sunday afternoon diversion. Bring your lunch or just snacks, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy live music all afternoon. The bad news is that they are out of reds, the good news is that the whites are very good. The band was Saucy Jacks. They play mostly 70’s thru 90’s and they do a great job. They get the audience involved and by the time they are done the whole place is rockin’! The entertainment is outside under a tent and you have to go inside to get your wine.

Went here in Sunday afternoon. Brought my whole family. Had a tasting and bought a couple bottles of wine. The staff was so much fun and the wine was magnificent. All made on location. The band was jamming. We made it a family event to include children. While we drank they chased chickens and we danced. Add great weather to the mix and we had a heavenly get together. Such a positive vibe!

The place is quite, people there know exactly what they are doing, very friendly, we entered inside the farm between the grape trees, you can take your own food, taste wine and the then buy the one you like. It is a good experience.

Fabulous! Comfortable, friendly, relaxing, fun, all of the above. Wines are awesome, price point is great. Just visit, hang out and listen to music on weekends. By all means, join the wine club. Best deal. 2013 White Pinot Noir is delightful. Wonderful experience.

What a charming little winery. The setting is rustic and serene. There was a band playing as part of their summer music series. The owners shared their knowledge and were quite welcoming, including their allowing our dog to visit. We bought a fabulous Pinot Gris. After the tasting, we strolled the fields… a fabulous day. Do try the White Pinot Noir and the Vidal Blanc!

My fiancée and I have been here a handfull of times over the past couple years & it truly is the most fun we’ve had at any vineyard. The staff is very friendly & outgoing, the atmosphere is very welcoming & the wine is great. Whenever we have come here we have been welcomed amongst the regulars as if we were all old friends. I highly recommend Running Brook to anyone who is considering going.

Running Brook isn’t exactly the best wine around, but everything comes together to make it one of the best experiences. Don’t get me wrong, there are some quality bottles for wine snobs like me, but I think that everyone can find something they like here, even people who don’t really like wine. My personal favorite is the Vidal Blanc– it’s our«house white»(though don’t keep it around too long because the corks will blow out of the bottles if you don’t keep an eye on them). The tasting room is in a barn and is really unique. The people who work there are really awesome too. I live in Virginia(grew up in Southern Mass) but they remember me every time I walk in. Pedro, the winemaker, is one of the most genuinely passionate about what he does guys I’ve ever met. He keeps his cool about it, but you can tell he lights up inside when he meets people who love wine and want to learn more about what he does. I have been to dozens of wineries in many different regions, and taken classes, and I have hands down learned more about winemaking from Pedro than anyone else. Running Brook often times has events with music, dancing and food, and it’s just so fun to see everyone getting together to enjoy some wine and have a good time. I also appreciate that they are really active on social media because you feel like you’re part of a Running Brook community. It makes it a very personal experience and I look forward to going there whenever I’m in town.

This place is a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it. It was our first time visiting Running Brook, but Casa treated us like long lost family the minute we walked through the doors. She started pouring wine and inviting us to try it without the crass mention of cost, etc. that you get at so many other vineyards. She turned on the heat so we could have an indoor picnic and even set up a table and some chairs. We felt very welcomed, and the wine is very good, too.

I first encountered Running Brook Vineyards and Winery in the summer of 2012 while experiencing the Coastal Wine Trail with my now husband. I made it a point to visit all 9 wineries in the Coastal Wine Trail by the end of the calendar year. We came across Running Brook after visiting another winery near-by. I was immediately impressed with the delicious and varied taste of their wine. At that point, the Vidal Blanc was my favorite, and perfect for the summer. Since then, I have frequented Running Brook Vineyards and Winery. For a winter 30th birthday, Running Brook hosted a stop for us on our own wine excursion, and gave all of the birthday guests free tastings as well as honored the birthday girl with complimentary bottles of wine. In the summer, I’m allowed to stop by with my pet dachshund and enjoy the beautiful grounds while sipping wine. Most recently, Running Brook hosted my own birthday with 20 of my best friends. They gave all guests complimentary tastings and sold wine for 25% off! They decorated tables for us and made what I expected to be a casual birthday, a beautiful and memorable event. Running Brook Vineyards and Winery creates the most delicious wine in all of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. However, their best quality is their personable customer service and their ever welcoming hospitality. I am blessed that I found this hidden gem!

Charming, quaint, picturesque — all the things you want in a winery, of course. What Running Brook lacks in, maybe, sophistication it more than makes up for in hospitality, location and most importantly, the quality of their wines. I was invited to Running Brooke by my dear friend Sarah VM, and honestly had no idea what to expect. While I’ve meandered the hills of Napa, I hadn’t yet ventured into the world of New England Wines, and from what I had heard, I wasn’t missing much. But what I was missing was Running Brook — seriously, you guys — their reds are on par with some of those I had in Napa. Maybe you think I’m crazy, but you haven’t yet tasted their Cabernet Franc. Clearly run with love by an adorable Portuguese family, sitting down and chatting with these people about their wines is as fun as sipping it. The landscape is beautiful, and while a simple barn structure houses the tanks, bottling and tasting areas, I found it pretty cool to be exposed to the inner-workings and quite enjoyed seeing their entire process first-hand. If you become a member(which is free), you get dibs on tickets to their amazing events(pig roast, anyone?) and discounted rates on their wines. It’s a really great program and, considering the quality of the product and the endearing team of folks behind it, that’s an easy deal to take.

We stumbled in here after a visit to Travessia at closing time. The barman was immensely helpful: offered to stay open late for us and even wait for our second car of friends to arrive. Our time was short but very sweet and we became members. Membership benefits include: *25% off bottles *free tastings year round *members only events on the estate 2x/year *two rounds of 8 bottles at $ 792x/year — that’s less then $ 10 a bottle! We went home with two bottles of vidal blanc, a red, and are eagerly awaiting the white Merlot that was just bottled.

We stumbled across Running Brook while doing the wine tour a few years back. We had been to Napa the previous summer and were trying to recreate the feelings without the travel. The trail was a nice weekend. We packed our picnic lunches, stayed at a local motel and played tourist. The last stop was Running Brook. We were blown away by the wines. Everything else just helps make Running Brook a better place to visit. We have made the 100 mile trip been back to Running Brook several times a year ever since. We try to attend as many of the events as possible. We bring foods that compliment the wines, and then have enough on hand to share with others including RB newbies stumbling into the festivities for the first time. We have become real friends with Pat, Pedro, Beudros and especially Manny, even though it is possible to catch Manny in one of his many Manny moods. Even more, we have connected with people who like us, are thrilled to have a little bit of our very own Napa we can drive to. We have served these wines to our friends and look forward every year to the new gems that Manny has crafted. Come to Running Brook for the wines. Come back for the fun, friends and good cheer.

We try to do the wine tour in RI/MA at least once a year and this winery won hands-town this year. This is the only one where we purchased a full case. I am not even a fan of chardonnays and theirs were excellent. The wine-makers know their stuff. When you drive in you might think you have made a mistake. Not a fancy tasting room but who cares? The wine is good and the person doing the tasting tour is friendly and informative. If you want to support local wines try this place.

As others have mentioned, this isn’t the best looking winery but the people who work there are very friendly and the wines are pretty good especially for this area. The tasting area is very basic but you get to sample 6 wines which is generous in my opinion. They also have seating outside if you’d like to bring a picnic lunch or purchase a bottle(they’ll open it for you and even lend you glasses to use.) We opted out of the tasting but upon mentioning that we’d like to just buy a full bottle to drink outside, the woman working gave us small tastings of a few wines to help us choose. We chose the Unoaked Chardonnay which was just sweet enough and almost had after notes of honey. It was a great wine to accompany the beautiful early summer day. Only as we were leaving did we realize that you can actually walk the long dirt road down to the vineyards. We saw another couple that had taken their wine glasses and bottle with them as they strolled and I think that would be the best way to enjoy this little winery. Be sure to check out this little winery the next time your cruising around the area!

My FAVORITE vineyard on the coastal wine trail. It’s not pretty to look at but once you start talking to Manny the owner, you’ll think you just got dropped in the middle of Napa. Our tasting was free and he must have let us try at least 10 different wines. We asked all kinds of questions and he enthusiastically gave us all kinds of information and an education on his operation and wine making as well as a good family history. You don’t get the swanky slate countertops of anything here, just a counter with some oyster crackers and a spit bucket, but the wine was top notch(loved the Chardonnay and Vidal Blanc) and the owner, our host, was awesome. When you go in, you’re also standing in their barn amongst the hundreds of wine barrels which is just neat. Outside they have a picnic area so bring along the family and friends and a lunch. Manny told us to picnic out there anytime we wanted so I’m extending the invitation. I’ve been to Napa quite a few times and this place is the only one around that even comes close to the same type of experience. There’s no twenty-something behind the bar talking about how she brings this wine to all her parties, just a super nice dude who runs his own winery and wants to share it with everyone. Oh, and the wine is cheap too! Since we came here, we’ve been telling everyone to go and we’ll definitely be back, probably very soon.
