On a spontaneous trip to North Conway, we stopped into the Toys R Us Express. It was quite possibly the darkest store I’ve ever been in. It was very crowded with merchandise, not terribly organized, and the prices and quality of the products left much to be desired.(I spent $ 13 on a large rubber Four Square ball and a small toy bulldozer. When I got them home, one dog bite immediately rendered the ball useless; and then we discovered the bulldozer’s tracks weren’t meant to actually move and instead it had wheels. Sheesh.) I did my best not to listen to the gossiping of the two seemingly bored and disgruntled employees behind the counter — they were not terribly friendly, but not horrible, either. All in all, the atmosphere drove us out of the store. We will be skipping any such«Express» stores in the future.
