The place is nice, but the food here is barely mediocre. The quality of the burger is below average and much of the food tastes out of the microwave. It gets really loud when they are crowded.

We went in for dinner at 4 and the place was almost empty so it was relaxing and quiet. To start we had the potato skins which were really tasty. My husband ordered the ribs after asking if they were beef or pork. Rather than ask the cooks our waitress clearly guessed beef so that’s what he ordered. I ordered a BBQ burger with sweet potato fries. I normally get veggie burgers because most places serve giant patties that are either burnt and crispy or still mooing… Not this place, yum. The burger was cooked to perfection and was really good. The sweet potato fries were thick and crispy on the outside! My husband knew the ribs were most likely pork which they were and he ate them anyways. He also got a side of French fries which were good. Around 4:30 the place started getting packed and our waitress had a huge table to wait on so getting out of there was a bit slow. There were also families who had lots and lots of screaming children which we prefer not to have to deal with in a large open spaced restaurant.

Went here for the first time today for lunch. We had the pulled park and s southwestern wrap. My husband said it was one of the best pulled porks he has ever had. The wrap was tasty too. Great atmosphere and value!

We eat dinner here almost every time we’re in N Conway. Clean, consistently good service and the ribs with the house BBQ sauce are so tender & out of this world. The bones slip out effortlessly. Tastes great coupled with a salad and Mark West Pinot Noir. I’ve been to TX a few times and these ribs definitely give TXBBQ establishments a run for their money! Bread is usually warm and good as well. Outside deck where we ate dinner tonight is nice with a great view. Be prepared to wait during busy seasons. Tonight there was no wait! Great take, highly recommend it. May get some take out ribs & eat at home when we travel back home!

Delicious food. Great atmosphere and service. King Neptune dish was delish! Salmon and steak tips were also delicious. Service was prompt too. Tip: arrive before 5:45 to beat the rush.

We loved this place! Great food — I had the steak sandwich. Great, friendly staff. Fun décor inside and if you go in the spring summer or fall you can sit on the deck for a glorious view of the mountain while you dine. We will definitely eat there again next time we’re in the area.

We have been here a few times over the years. It’s usually busy, but it’s worth waiting. The family has a great time and our waiter was very funny and great with our kids, always a plus. The food is a decent portion for the price and always tasty. So, if you’re in the area and can’t decide, choose here, you’ll be glad you did!

Located in the heart of North Conway village the Muddy Moose is a convenient spot to bring the family for dinner after a long day of skin or shopping. This restraint and pub is right next to Cranmore Mountain and lots of small shops. The décor gives this place a «mountain lodge feel». I didn’t get any drinks at the bar, but it seemed to be a good spot since the bar seats were all filled with people drinking and socializing. Hearty food served here with a sandwich, burger, salad, seafood, and pasta section on the menu. I had the friend fish sandwich and my companion had a chaser salad wrap. Both were pretty good and everything is reasonably priced. Although they were a little skimpy on the onion rings. No complaints here for a nice family dinner after enjoying the day at North Conway.

It’s a very comfortable, and clean restaurant. The waiting area is large and not awkward. The have fast service and the waitstaff all have smiles and engage everyone. We ordered a Ruben sandwich with sweet potato fries to split and two ordered of French onion soup. The soup was served hot and was good. The sandwich was very delicious and the sweet potato fries were good as well. Our server Dotty brought out an empty plate so that we could split the meal. She was very friendly and cheerful. Our daughter loved it and it very kid friendly. They even gave us a package of two Oreos with the check.

There’s really nothing special about the Muddy Moose but I think it’s comparatively a great option in North Conway. If you asked me to describe it in a few words, I’d probably say something like«chain restaurant-ish, but not in a bad way». It’s the kind of place with mass appeal, you know — overdone woodsy, cabin-ish design, middle of the road menu with a few(frozen) fish dishes, burgers, and salads. I thought the prices were a little high for the area and for the restaurant itself, but the service was attentive and I was happy with my meal. Pluses include the fact that they had football on the TV at the bar and a lovely fireplace.

Went here with my family which was a party of 5. They didn’t allow us to put a chair on end of the table in the bar so we ended up being in the dining room ordering our drinks and app. The spinach dip wouldn’t be first on my list next time. The waitress was friendly and brought us bread and butter(quite tasty) even though we did not order dinners. Environment was loud and appeared more family oriented than what we were looking for. Pretty fire ambiance

Love the Muddy Moose! The food is yummy with lots of options and the service is good. Wait times can be long though. Also lots of kids so if you aren’t a kid person this may not be the place for you.

Went up hiking with a friend after the main foliage weekend. Stopped here on the way back due to many reviews and decent reviews. I cant help think that people will pay money for anything that is hot and made for them. The only thing going for this place was the beer selection. The wait staff was adequate, but for a not so busy after season weekend I thought it would be easy to be spot on. The space is too big and they do get a crowd and it was too noisy. Tough to hear each other to conduct a conversation. The menu seemed ok, and sometimes after a hike and lots of exercise outdoors you can eat anything and think it is good, well that was not the case here. Got soup and a burger, it all seemed like stuff that could be bought at a grocery store. I almost think that there are brands of soup you can buy at the store that would have tasted better! The burger was less impressive than anything I can cook at home on my own. The fries seemed to have sat maybe over the fryer for a while? they were soggy cold and oily. Even though the menu seemed ok and the prices seemed ok the quality and presentation of the food fell way below grade.

This place gets 4 stars for exceeding our expectations of an American restaurant which we randomly chose to fill our bellies between shopping trips. Friendly service, outdoor seating(if the weather’s good — and it was nice and crisp this weekend), lots of choices, and good food. We were okay sitting outside, so we got a table right away for our party of 4. I had pork ribs with a yummy house cranberry sauce, and a baked potato and carrots on the side. My dining companions had fish and chips(with really good breading on the fish) and the steak sandwich with onion rings. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and portioned on the generous side of just right. Downsides: The freshly baked bread came with little plastic tubs of butter(real butter would have been nice). Iced tea and coffee were a bit weak. A solid choice for lunch!

This place is basically Storyland South. Show up at 5:30 and you’ll be surrounded by meltdown-incipient children and uninspired cafeteria fare. We were quoted a 20 minute wait time and were finally seated 50 minutes after initial checkin. Furthermore, you can’t even seek refuge in margaritas that are little more than sickly-sweet sour mix with a dash of well tequila. The place cleared out around 7pm, so maybe it’s more chill once the kids are sleeping off their sugar comas.

They do great job at the Moose. The servers and hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The food is good too and they really take care of kids. I do wish they had a better, more local, beer menu. Can’t miss stopping here though. Kids LOVE it and it works for adults too.

Certainly no Muddy Moose inside. Lodge type feel/atmosphere with a full bar. The menu offers typical american fare. I certainly don’t expect much in North Conway. American is fine. We came here for a late lunch after a full morning of outdoor activity. There were people waiting for tables but there was room on the patio so why not eat outside instead of waiting, right? Not too long after that, I thought to myself. I SHOULDHAVEWAITED!!! We felt neglected out in the patio as there is not a set server station. It looked like every table had a different server. The tables that came in after us was greeted and served drinks before our server came by. By that means, the service was WICKED slow! After perusing thru the menu, I decided on a burger. Plain old, nothing special burger. Just Because! No Cheese. Just onions and lettuce with a side of mayo. Medium rare please! It came out at the right temp with onion rings after a long wait. The rings were quite crunchy but not much taste to the batter. I found that it was weird that they served mayo packets in a restaurant that’s not a dive. In contrast, ketchup was served in a red ketchup bottle. I tell ya, that dang ketchup tasted weird! I love ketchup but I couldn’t take that after a few dips. If you’re not in a rush, having a lazy day. this place may suit you.
