Big Dave’s Bagels & Deli

Big selection of take out sandwiches, bagels, salads. There are a few bar stools and a counter also for eating in. Really tasty, perfect for quick lunch on our way in to town.

I stopped in here when I was leaving North Conway after a fun weekend. My breakfast sandwich was great! I asked for extra crispy bacon and they were very accommodating to do so. While talking to my friends they overheard that it was my birthday so they gave me a free piece of coffee cake which was delicious as well.
Perfect spot to stop in and grab a breakfast sandwich on some yummy bagels.

My wife and I are weekenders here in the Valley. We spend 40 weekends a year here. Big Dave’s is one of our must stops every weekend. In fact when I walk through the door they know I need a pound of their delicous roast beef. Dave once shared with me he makes his own. Now I’ve also have sample sandwiches. Dessets, and his baked fresh daily bagels. In fact my coworkers back in Boston love when I bring back a bag of the day old bagels. What makes this place special is Dave looks at your experience through your eyes. The customer’s eyes.

Very good lunch place .although closes early so an early dinner here is out of the question.

Don’t go anywhere else to grab a quick bite! Delicious gourmet bagels with amazing cream cheese variations. sandwiches, breakfast and lunch burritos, the best chocolate chip cookies we’ve ever had, huge and varied menu; perfection!

This was a great place to stop quickly before entering the White Mountain Forest. My parents could split a sandwich and I thought the wrap was perfect for an individual. Nice little local joint!

We stopped by Big Dave’s for breakfast to go on the way out of town. The place was hopping, but we had great, friendly service and excellent breakfast sandwiches. The maple bagels were GREAT! What a cute place with lots of hometown atmosphere. Totally recommend this one!

Hands down the best breakfast place in town. Breakfast burritos will rock your world. The coffee was fresh and strong, too.

This is the best sandwich place up in the area in my option! It’s hard to find good sandwich places in New Hampshire and this is defiantly makes a good sandwich! It is pricier than most places but you get your money’s worth! I love this place and recommend it to many people!

Love this place! Amazing sandwiches! Sub rolls are delicious! They also come with a side and a pickle, which are so good! I try to eat here as often as I can!

Was told about this place by a co worker after she brought in a very delicious smelling wrap, I ordered a Boston 3 way, one of the best I’ve ever had, every part of it fresh and really tasty. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back

What a great little place! Stopped in for a quick lunch after driving from ct. Found it through Unilocal and as always with Unilocal reviews I wasn’t disappointed. Everything is very fresh, made to order and though a bit pricy the portions are huge and come with a side. Will definitely be back for more!

This is our second time here this trip. Last time we shared the Reuben which was ridiculously delicious.
Today I’m trying the Big Beef wrap on a gluten free wrap. I was so happy to find out that they offer gluten free options that I couldn’t resist. I love me some roast beef with spicy horseradish sauce and carmelized onions. Yum city!

We stop in here every summer for te best sanwiches and bakery in North Conway! This year had the Rueben and Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie! Deeee-​Lish!

I went in here around noon on a Thursday to grab some sandwiches for lunch before going canoeing for the day on the Saco. Lucky for me, the place wasn’t too busy until after I got there. The selection looked pretty good and there were lots of options. The kid taking my order wasn’t very friendly or enthusiastic and when I asked about options for sides, he just shrugged and told me in a very «I’m stating the obvious» tone of voice. I could have done without the sarcasm.
Regardless, he did a great job on the sandwiches I ordered, and I know this because they have a very large open kitchen/​prep area. While I was waiting, I was very impressed with how clean and organized the back of the house was. That’s a big plus in a business where customers can see into the back.
One other issue I had was with everyone back there wearing shorts, open toed shoes, and no one had on a hat or hair net. I’m a stickler (as I should be) for food handlers following food safety policies.
Nonetheless, this place is a great little deli: it’s clean and they put out good food.

My favorite place for bagels! Excellent selection, homemade cream cheeses! My favorite combo is a jalapeño bagel toasted with Veggie Cream Cheese. The Veggie cream cheese is AHHHH-​mazing!!! Crisp crunchy cool veggies, perfect flavor! You will never be able to go back to other veggie cream cheese again.
I also love their deli meats! All made in house, fresh roast beef and turkey delicious!!! Their portions are excellent! Whether you come for breakfast or lunch you won’t leave hungry!

We happened upon Big Dave’s on our way up to Wildcat Mountain to get some skiing in. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich I ordered came on one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. We liked Big Dave’s breakfast so much that we… happened upon the shop again on our way out for a late lunch. This time I went for the Big Beef sub and my wife grabbed the veggie burrito. Mine came with a heaping pile of beef and all the requisite fixings.
Great subs and burritos. Amazing bagels. Fast, genuinely friendly service that’s eager to please. Big Dave’s is worth a stop. Or two. If Dave’s was in the Chicago Loop, it would clean up.

Excellent food and fast, friendly service! My wife and I stopped here for lunch while on vacation. We come up here once a year and Big Dave’s will now be a regular dining spot for us. Very affordable, not a lot of seating but plenty of parking. Great mountain view from the window bar seats.
I had the Big Joey’s sub (ham, genoa salami, sweet peppers and provolone), my wife had the Big Beef wrap (roast beef, carmalized onions and horseradish) VERY Generous servings of meat in both meals and very Delicious!
We left with a choc chip cookie and a hunk of crumb cake to eat later because we were so full after the sandwiches. Also got a half dozen bagels for breakfast. Everything looked fresh and baked daily.

we’ve already been back 3 times since i started writing this review and it keeps getiing yummier and yummier. Their bagels and other baked goods are extremely delicious and you’ve got to try their Fresh made cream cheese. We had scallion and veggie flavors.
On our third trip we stocked up on sandwiches and muffins (morningstar muffin is my fave) for our canoe trip down the saco. Everything tasted just as fresh 4 hours later — just stay away from mayo before long hikes and trips.
All in all, we still have a few days left on our trip and i’m sure we’ll be back several more times. Big Dave’s is definitely the food highlight of our New Hampshire trip!
