Bopnique Productions

Bopnique is the only studio in New England where I will record, and Anthony is the only producer in New England I will work with. To understand why you should care, please read on.. .
I’m a snot when it comes to recording studios, producers, engineers, gear, etc. If you’re going to work with me I want to see Gold and platinum.. and lots of it. It also helps if you’re produced some of my favorite bands. So it’s really no surprise that to record my first CD I flew across the country to have Sylvia Massy Shivy produce at Radiostar. (for those of you not familiar, Sylvia produced Tool, Powerman, RHCP, Rage, I could on and on).
Why do I do this? It’s a trust issue. I write good songs, and I don’t want to trust someone who’s a flake or will take my songs and demolish them only to hold the title of «producer» over my head. Furthermore, I have to like the producer.. . on a personal level. My discs are involved. Very involved. And if I don’t like the producer going in 12 – 16 hour days 6 days per week is going to end up in someone getting slapped around.. and since I’m signing the checks, it isn’t gunna be me.
So getting this back to Bopnique– I would work here. I have worked here. And i can’t wait to work here again!
Anthony is an unbelievably talented producer, engineer, musician, and person. Kariyadi is an unbelievable engineer and editor. Bopnique is an amazing facility.

Seriously. Put down the mackie mixer that you don’t know how to use anyway, and spend the money here with someone who will make your songs sound as good as they possibly can.
