In addition to my recent Unilocal review, I also emailed the base public affairs to share my awful experience at the inn. To my surprise, the installation commander called me to personally apologize. He seemed sincere and was interested in making changes so this wouldn’t happen again. Although, I would still think twice about staying there, I truly appreciate the call and hope they make the needed improvements.

I don’t usually rate or leave reviews like this but this really made me upset. Early morning whilst getting my coffee. I hear this rude front desk lady named kenisha west I believe, gossiping about her co-workers and being rude/rolling her eyes to customers. It was very unpleasant hearing that early morning. People like that shouldn’t be working in the customer service industry. She needs to learn her manners and be mindful of others who can hear her. Other than that the rooms are great for the price. Update: Not sure if it was kisha, Keisha, or Kenisha because I didn’t really see the name tag properly. I asked one of the workers there wearing blue and they said her last name was west. Hopefully it’s the right person you guys talk to about this situation. Didn’t want the wrong person to be in trouble about it.

Very large rooms!!! I would stay here again without a question. You have two sinks one in the front living room area as well as two mini-fridges in both of those locations as well. Individual thermostats in both sections of the room. I was in a Business Suite, the only bad things I observed were the ice maker didn’t work on the first floor which serviced the whole building and the shower was pretty small.

I stayed here about 3 years ago, when my Father, and I took a Space A flight out to Charleston AFB from Travis AFB. It was my first space A experience, and it was a wonderful place to stay! I enjoyed the internet, and all the amenities! Now, my girlfriend, and I are going back out to Charleston for a few days before heading up to Myrtle Beach. I couldn’t be more excited to go visit Charleston again… I’m really looking forward to the Great deal of staying at the Inn of Charleston again!!!

BEDBUGS. I’m not one to usually write reviews but when you wake up with 50 bites after sleeping there you’ll know what I mean. I’ve woken up every night since from itching so bad. Their on my face which is embarrassing and my right arm is so covered in bites that I’m wearing a long sleeve in FL. Last thing we needed during our PCS. They refunded our stay but said their was nothing they could do about refunding us for the new duffel bag we had to buy(since ours probably had bugs in it by then) They really didn’t seem apologetic about it, kinda like«sorry but this happens» attitude. They obviously have never dealt with bed bugs for themselves.

My husband is retired military so we were able to stay at the Inn on the Charleston AFB. The accommodations were excellent: clean rooms, small kitchen, nicely appointed décor and the added bonus of windows that open! We Loved that. Great location and we’d definitely stop again.

Only the best for those who serve our country. This place is one of the best up kept military facilities out there. My family rented a three bed, two bath house for a two-digit price. It’s very close to everything you want to visit in Charleston, as well as outskirt beaches in the area. The only downfall of the place is the airport being so close, but seriously, it’s the Air Force. Expect some take off’s and landings.

This Inn is on the Charleston AFB, so you will need a military ID enjoy it. This is the only military inn around, so if you are from another branch, like the Navy, you will be staying here. Overall, they have lots of rooms. They have a nice bar/food selection to buy right from the front desk. They also give a nice selection of coffees and teas from the front desk as well. I stayed at one of the business suites called the Isle of Palm. It was right at the front desk building, just to the right. The room that I got was right next to the exit, so there is high traffic there. You can hear most, if not, all the people walk in and out of the building. That made for lots of door slamming right outside the room. They only have 4 business suites. The difference between the business suites and the regular rooms is that the business suite has an actual living room with a couch. The regular rooms only come with a queen size bed room and that’s it. The room itself was good, minus an unexpected visitor I found in the bathroom. I had a cockroach lying right on the ground as I entered the bathroom to use it initially. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Minus the cockroach, I would stay here again.
