There is no discernible service here. 90% of tables are open and the waitress hasn’t acknowledged our presence. We went up to the bar to order and received abrupt but tolerable service. Menu is tiny and the beverage selection is adequate. This is the only open place in the under renovation airport, with the tiniest effort it would be packed. The effort was not made.

I was waiting for a flight after a bachelorette party in Charleston and we grabbed some sandwiches here before take off. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was decent and not too terribly overpriced.

Ripoff airport food which is a shame being that every other food place in the terminal is closed for renovation. Sad that the airport has just one option. Had to pay $ 10 for what amounts to a side salad. It was the only option which was not a sandwich.

So, we had to wait a bit for a seat because there was a crowd watching the Masters. Here’s what I learned after I went next door to order food. You can order food and alcoholic beverages here, but you cannot order alcoholic beverages if you are in the adjoining food place. We knew we would not be arriving home until late in the evening, so we grabbed a quick bite, from the place next door, and an alcoholic beverage. We did have to order at the bar and bring our drinks to our table, others had table service. I don’t know how that is determined. Choices are limited so make the best of it.

I used to think this was a bar attached to The Great American Bagel. I guess they changed the name of the attached café. Anyway, this is my favorite place in the Charleston airport. Why? The food is not bad, there are two TVs, and the bartender woman is really friendly and awesome. Last time we went through here we were stuck in this gate for HOURS because of a delay, and she was really fun and nice. Unfortunately, the boss came around and made the bar close early because there weren’t enough customers — BOOOO! We had to wait our next two hours by the gate with nothing to do because of that. Also, like any airport bar, drinks are way overpriced. Anyway, feel lucky if you are in the«A» gate and have a flight delay because this isn’t a bad place to spend it.

Hope you have better luck getting waited on than me. Bartender walked past several times and never said a word or asked if I wanted anything. Every time I tried to wave her down she turned away.

I waivered between a two star and three star review because in the end this is a restaurant inside of a small regional airport(CHS) and what can you really expect anyhow — that’s right… nothing spectacular. So, do I say this is «OK» because I expected nothing and got nothing or do I say«Meh, I’ve experienced better». I choose, «Meh.» Food is below average to average. Service is below average to average. Drinks are just average, and they did not have the liquor that I desired or the beer selection I would have expected. In the end, it is one of the only options in the airport, so you might as well get the nothing that you expect from the place — it is certainly better than starving.

Nothin special. But hey it’s a bar inside security. They have a few different beers on tap and their prices aren’t bad for an airport bar. The Coors Light always has a funny taste at this place though, so go with a Sam Adams.

The only place to get a drink in the concourse. Also, the only child free zone I could find. The bloodies are killer, and the service is slow. But… drinks before the flight is a win!

Bar is owned by a European concern and they stopped offering Bourbon… INTHESOUTH??? Really??? They offer Jack Daniels, but that is not bourbon. Food is OK but the bartenders are the stars here. If it wasn’t for the bartenders, this would be a 1 star.

Our flight was delayed so we decided to get a bite to eat at this Samuel Adams Bar. They just so happen to have a huge group come in right before us, so service was very slow. The waitress was friendly. We ordered wings and nachos, and they weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be. Drinks were a little pricey though.

Airside in the«B» concourse of the Charleston airport, this little outpost is the only alcohol to be found inside security. A handful of tables and a half dozen seats at the bar, expect the place to be packed before the flights to Atlanta and Charlotte load up and take off. A draft beer is $ 7 which seems high. They do not have food of their own, but they do have a deal with the next door sandwich place that you can order from there with the bartender and put it on your tab. There is one television tuned to news or sports and there is one power outlet open underneath it. Note that there is also a Sam Adams in the«A» concourse too.
