Publix

Wasn’t that impressed with this grocery store. We are new to SC so we are checking out all the grocery stores in the area. Selection was just ok. Prices seemed high.
Deli area looked nice, I’m always happy to see a nice wine selection at a grocery store, don’t have that in Denver.
I don’t think we will be back. Very nice and friendly staff. As always, great southern hospitality.

Please tell the women with the brown hair who was working in the bakery who told me the «Heath Bar Cookies were crack»””. She’s right. I’m addicted and you guys are going to need to raise your pars.
Give her raise, praise her something. Don’t let this review go by unnoticed as most big companies are. I’m a chef I know about service. I wasn’t even looking for any, I was just checking out the selection when she sold me on an item I didn’t want but an going to be coming back for.
She defines «guest Obsession»”.
Can this be made in cake form???

Things are getting back to normal for me at my Publix. I’ve taken any potential problems with the deli out of the equation by using their online order system. U can even access it from your phone via their app making it extremely handy when you’re on the go and want to order.

Publix has always been my «go to» grocery store. The staff is always friendly. My concern with this Publix is the deli. I always get deli meats etc. for sandwiches. I get a little grossed out when they slice the meat on dirty slicers. All that crap should be cleaned off so that bits and pieces of god knows what don’t end up in your fresh, expensive bag of deli meat. Makes you question how clean things are that customers don’t see. May start going to Harris Teeter.

Have shopped here many times. Store is always neat, clean and well organized. Staff is always willing to help. I like to shop here because you can find items at Publix you can’t find anywhere else. Prices are higher than the WalMarts but you get great service here. Love the buy one get one free items which can really cut down on your food bill. Also they ACCEPT all competitor’s coupons. Love that I received $ 10.00 off coupons from Harris Teeter which Publix gladly accepted!

I love Publix. This store in particular has great customer service. Such nice people… maybe it’s a southern thing…
The shelves are stocked with such a great variety of items. It’s rare that you walk out with items on your grocery list that you could’t get.
The buy one get one deals are all over the store and love that you don’t have to get two of an item to get the discount.
My favorite thing: Fried chicken… seriously, could be my last meal on earth and I’d be stoked!
The bakery goes above and beyond to get those special cakes just right! The cakes are light and fluffy. I could stand a little more sugary buttercream frosting though. Their art work is awesome. I have gotten 2 birthday cakes (Superman and Cars) and Valentine Cupcakes (60 of them!) for a mom’s event. Consistently good.
Another thing… I love how they cover over magazines that may be harmful for little kids eyes or men’s eyes for that matter!
I am still a Trader Joe’s girl but since it’s a lot further for me out here in Charleston… I am glad I have a great replacement!

I know a lot of people who really love Publix, but I just find them to be ok. Certainly a step or two above Food Lion or Bi-​Lo, but not as nice as Harris Teeter stores. I visit this location whenever I am down visiting friends that live close by.
This Publix is a pretty good sized store and on my visits here, I have been able to find almost everything I was looking for. The employees are pretty friendly and if you need to pick up some fresh seafood, they have a decent selection.
The beer and wine selection is ok, but if you are looking for something special in that department, you probably ought to head to Total Wine instead.

This grocery store is always clean and neat, and the associates are very friendly. Things can be a bit overpriced, but this is a small grocery store and not a Wal-​Mart of course. It’s a great place to shop for your weekly food supplies.
