Handyman Connection

I called the Handy Man connection regarding a clogged kitchen sink after reading mostly positive Unilocal Reviews and finding that they offered Free Estimates. I also visited their website prior to calling them to verify that they did in fact handle plumbing concerns however after scheduling my courtesy estimate a gentleman showed up who was nice enough but didn’t know how to unclog my kitchen sink! After checking my «P Trap» He told me that I needed to call a plumber! LOL I said I thought that you were a plumber… SMH
They seemed professional on the phone however it was a BIG disappointment and now I have to go and call a plumber because my sink is still CLOGGED!

The people are very nice but I haven’t had a chance to use their services — had them send 2 guys for estimates and both estimates were twice as much as all the others I got.
I give them 2 stars for fast service and nice, seemingly knowledgable handymen but seems like they are really overpriced.

I’ve called on these folks in the past and called upon them again today. As always, great service. They send out individuals who are knowledgeable about the task at hand and they do an outstanding job at a fair price. Highly recommend these folks!

Cannot say enough good about Handyman Connection. Finally, contractors who do the job right the 1^st time. They are well worth the price, and Sara is just great. They are reliable; actually arrive when they say they will. They are courteous; wear shoe covers, very clean, and respectful of property. They are conscientious; make sure job is done right and to your satisfaction. My best contractor experience ever. A must use for sure.

I’ve been using Handyman Connection for various home repairs for 8 years and they do good work. A friend of mine has used them, also, and was pleased.
They are time reliable and always call with the name of who is coming and are real close to being there when they say they will be. The craftsman are clean and professional, and don’t leave a mess. Prices are fair considering labor is hard work especially outside in Charleston’s heat & humidity.
I like that most times I don’t have to be there and can call in a credit card later after the work is done. They leave the paperwork in the door. This is very convenient for me to not have to sit around all day waiting. They also give repeat customer discounts and coupons are available on their website or sometimes in the valu-​pak that comes in the mail.
I’m sure I’ll be calling them again for something around the house and can rest assured it’s a reputable company and the job will be done right.
