Fairfield Inn & Suites

This was a nice big and clean suite. We had a wonderful time only issue was our heater in the room was not working but the dining area was. We received extra blankets and a little discount to compensate is for it. Overall I still recommend this place. The price was okay as well.

This place is awesome!!! CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! The service is top notch too! Everyone is so sweet and helpful. The front desk check-​in was super fast and the girls who work the front desk are fabulous! The breakfast is free every morning and very good! The housekeeping ladies do s great job and everyday our room was cleaned to perfection and restocked with complimentary soaps, shampoo, and coffee. I love that they give you free makeup wipes! The entire hotel is so clean. There is evening reception from 5−7 – free beer/​wine and chips. The pool area is a bit small, but is very clean and well kept. We’ll definitely stay here again if we ever visit North Charleston again!

Great breakfast! The staff was super friendly during my weekend stay at this location. When I had car trouble, my last day there, Mike from the front desk stayed about 45 min past his shift ending to help jump my car in the parking lot… and made sure I had a back up ride planned out. I am so impressed with the customer service and cleanliness at this hotel that I’d highly recommend staying here.

his place is located very close to CSU –Charleston Southern University. If you like Dunkin Donuts-​they are just opposite.
They have Atlanta bread company very close to the same shopping complex. This is amazing. Good location for multiple things.
Staff are extremely great. To get the nice location please reach out to Jennifer Madison –she is awesome and she can get good discounted rate for your corporation also. Nice people are Anne in the breakfast room-​she is highly enthusiastic about her job. Lauren in the front desk –she always picks the call –award winning Fairfield inn by Marriott– This is amazing. Please take a moment and visit and check out –they really mean business.

Large, comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price, this Fairfield is my first choice when visiting North Charleston.
The rooms have operable windows and two TVs (bedroom and living room) plus a desk (living room). I find fresh air and separate sleeping/​living areas are very helpful in making a room comfortable for more than a night or two (excluding resorts, etc… Have reasonable expectations, you’re in North Charleston). My only minor gripe was with the few long hairs waiting for me in the shower when I arrived. I feel obliged to take a star away for that.
The free breakfast included all the usual suspects plus bacon (!) and biscuits & sausage gravy (!). Best breakfast ever? No, but this is a budget hotel and the breakfast is included. Have your Easter or Mothers Day brunch somewhere else.
The hotel in easy walking distance to several restaurants (quick service and fast food) and a CVS. Grab some food at the BBQ place and a free drink at the twice-​weekly Manager’s Reception.

Overall, ok. We were here to see about my brother in MUSC (located in Charleston) so our choice was a little inconvenient for the distance. I also thought they were a little spartan on the toiletries — no lotion, no mouth wash, just shampoo, conditioner and soap — but their bed was very comfortable, their access doors to the parking lot worked for me as did their ice machine. The breakfast was good (the wife liked it and she’s real picky) and they had the local paper and a separate coffee station. All ‘n all, should be a good choice as long as you have a car.

My choice of hotel whenever I am in town for business trip. Location is great, right off I26, friendly staff and clean rooms plus the good breakfast. What else can I ask? Great hotel to stay at if you ever in town.

The location is great if you’re visiting the University or have a Coastie living at the Atlantic Palms apartments. The hotel is clean and updated, the free breakfast every morning is actually pretty good with scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits/​gravy, yogurt, Eng. muffins, juices. I took a star off for:
1. The damn train that blows its horn early in the morning!
2. Mold smell in the bathroom
All in all, it’s a good place to stay at and I’d stay again.
