My husband and I bought many suits from this location, and each time we had a great experience. Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm smile and felt welcomed. I recommended Jos A Bank to many people. Recently, we went to the store and noticed the customer service is not the same. Maybe it’s because the employee we dealt with previously is no longer there. We did not feel welcomed, it was more like we were interrupting their social hour even though we were the only customers in the store. They were not helpful or knowledgeable about sale pricing. If asked a question they were condescending and snarky. We were there for the 2 for $ 299 suit sale. After about 20 minutes of looking without anyone coming over to check on us, my husband finally asked one associate if the suit he selected was included in the sale. At first she said yes, but as he walked away she told him that she had made a mistake and that it was not included. Her excuse was that they change the sales so frequently that she couldn’t keep up. But, if your job is to sell suits you should know the which suits are included in sales and which ones are not. Then another sales associate entered the store as if he was coming back from break. He came over to us to see if we needed help, but he seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder. We said we were deciding on a suit and he said ok and walked away. He didn’t offer to give his input at all. My husband decided on a suit and walked over to the associate to ask how much 1 suit would be instead of 2. He was also clueless about the sale. He said they were 2 for $ 299 or 1 for full price, which was $ 650. My husband questioned it, and he again said it was full price. I told him that the sign indicated that one suit was $ 199 and his reply was«that’s what I meant.» He was clearly wrong and couldn’t admit it. We were starting to get turned off by our poor customer service experience. But, my husband tried the suit on anyway. As he was trying on the suit, he became more disheartened by the service, so we decided not to buy the suit. We told the associate and he seemed annoyed as if we wasted his time. Because of the poor customer service we will not go back to this location and maybe not to another Jos A Bank. Take your business elsewhere.

I’m an avid Jos. A Banks purchaser. I’ve used the Princeton store, the Hamilton store and the Morristown store. All of them have 100% better service than this location. When it first opened, I bought a suit and had a great experience. Since then, I have been back numerous times and have yet to be helped sufficiently. For instance… I went in to the store today after hearing of their 75% of entire store sale and thought, «I could use a few things». I walked in, one employee said«hi» and that was it. In every other store I’ve visited, I was warmly greeted, asked how I was and what I was looking for. If I say«just browsing», they immediately say, «take your time. My name is ____, let me know if you need anything». Today? Did not happen. Honestly, I was only in there to purchase a few bow ties. I walked in, found the bow ties on my own, didn’t like anything they had in stock and left without anyone saying ANYTHING to me. In other stores they treat me like a million dollar customer because they know I buy often from them. Very disappointing!
