I took a date here based on the lovely photo of the patio. Needless to say when we walked in we were the only ones there that made this place a destination and hadn’t just stumbled off the course drunk. Luckily she was understanding and told me to never talk to her again. It’s a nice little place, the views from the patio are not particularly spectacular for a «golf course.» Just a lot of shrubbery and grass. Kind of like my backyard. It is definitely quiet and relaxing, maybe better suited for an after work drink if you happen to work in the woods nearby. Good news though, I found the reincarnation of Mickey Rooney. He was the course ranger who kept burning rubber driving by at a mean four mph. If I had more to drink I would’ve chased him and jumped in next to him to learn about the roaring 20’s. Donald Trump also seems to frequent this place. I couldn’t help but notice someone with his exact hair sitting with his back to us at the table next to ours. He was talking about keeping brown people out of our country and cheating on his wife. Dead ringer. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous, the sign on the door says«Restaurant/Bar,» for which the creativity blew me away. If walking up the stairs after dark I might have been worried about being flanked by ghosts or Freddy Kruger. Luckily I always keep my pepper spray handy. It The wings there were actually pretty good, so for all my stupid jokes about this place I wouldn’t hate going back, it was relaxing. But I might have to wait until I’m 65 with hip dysplasia to fit in.

Secret Happy hour place on the golf course. Great drinks, good food and reasonable pricing. Sit up on the deck overlooking the 1st and 18th holes soak in the peace and the Martinis. Have the hamburger with portabella and find happiness. Well maybe that takes 2 Martinis but it is worth a try.

I’ve come here for lunch a few times and never been disappointed. I’m a bit surprised more people in the area don’t know about it — a great hidden gem in Billerica. The service is always very friendly. And though fairly greasy, the french fries are delicious and go well with their sandwiches and burgers. There is a good list of refreshments that make relaxing on the back deck even more enjoyable on a hot summer day. What could be a better escape from the 9-to-5 than heading here to watch retirees play some golf?
