This hospital is absolutely horrible. My mother was admitted and the doctor on staff told her that she must go home, otherwise her sickness will get worse! My mother called a nurse and had to wait 40 minutes for someone to visit her, after she told them she was having heart palpitations — while waiting her blood pressure shot up to 190! It was only after my father called the nurses station that anyone went to my mother’s room. What kind of dump is this place?

The doctors seem okay (especially since they’re working in a place with an awful reputation.) The nurses are friendly and sweet, but have too much to do. The place is way understaffed. There was a big lack of communication also. A doctor would order a medicine, for example, and the nurse might show up with it 5 hours later. The schedules for medication were all over the place. Patients are not monitored or checked up on regularly. I hate to give a bad review — they seem to be trying so hard, but there is some basic planning missing.
