I have been a Chris P’s (Italian Chris) customer for a very long time. She’s absolutely amazing; she is consistent, professional, gives great suggestions and I feel great leaving the salon every time she cuts and styles my hair. Chris P is also a very talented make-​up artist that’s done my makeup for very special events, including my wedding, sons christening and several gatherings. She’s a true artist! She even cuts and styles my daughter’s hair. She is wonderful with my daughter; makes her feel like an important client. I highly recommend Grasshopper!

Carla did my ombré today and it far exceeded my expectations. She is wonderful!!! Carla customizes colors and cuts for every client. She is very knowledgeable and wants perfection for her clients. She is truly talented and in an elite class of hairdressers. I wouldn’t trust my mane with anyone else. Ask for Carla!!!
Also, the owner, Karen is very sweet and she embraces all her customers with exceptional service and care.

I made an appointment for a color corrective consultation. The reason why was because two days prior, i had my hair done at another salon. I asked for a brown and blonde ombré but instead got this really bland, dull, green and grey hue over my blonde highlights. I was a wreck! I didn’t want to go back to the salon that did it. I felt terrible. I just wanted it fixed!!!
When i got to the salon, i was warmly greeted by the owner karen and she assured me that christine was going to make my hair beautiful again
Christine was very friendly and very thorough. She put me at ease with her reassurance and patience. Christine ended up color correcting my hair and bringing it back to life!
What the grasshopper team did for me, i cannot thank them enough. I will never forget how happy you all made me! You all know how to make someone feel welcome! Looking forward to my future visits!

I have been coming to the Grasshopper for many years. Carla cuts and colors my hair perfect every time. Christina does great manicures and awesome make up. My daughter loves going to Christina for make up. Karen is a complete sweetheart. Everyone at the Grasshopper is professional yet very personable and friendly.

I visit Jersey once a year and every time I come back home I always have my hair cut and color by Carla. She’s a great stylist who is very knowledgeable and excellent with color.

Reasonable prices. Friendly staff and owner. As a guy, this is a much better haircut than you would get at a barber shop. Ask for Louis.

I love the grasshopper salon. All of the hair dressers are amazing. I also get manicures and pedicures here. I would highly recommend this hair salon to anyone. I never feel rushed, and alway pleased when I leave. :)

I have been here for haircuts, coloring, glaze treatments, blow-​outs, and facials. Although it is pricey, I return becasue it is worth it. The staff is friendly, they take their time with you and make sure you’re happy before you leave.

(I AM NOT A COMPETITOR!!!) Is there a NO star option? Please do not go here for waxing. I saw only one applicator in the garbage after she was done with me … and I had a brazilian done! (she double dips into the wax!!!) I was told by two doctors you can get herpes and HPV (leads to cervical cancer!) due to double dipping during waxing! She told me the wax is hot enough to kill any germs… gee thanks. But I know she gets very busy and … what if there is operator error and she forgets to heat the wax between sessions or if it’s not hot enough? I’ll listen to my doctors and avoid that place like the plague!!!
