Flowers of the Field did all the flowers for our wedding day on 6−28−15. They did the bridal bouquet, maid of honor bouquet, corsages, boutenniers, table arrangements, flowers for the church, etc. It was very important to us to support local businesses in North Bergen, and couldn’t have been happier. Ara(the owner) was very communicative and open to the ideas we wanted and our vision. We only had a little miscommunication regarding which parts of the orders were to be delivered and picked up, but that was quickly remedied and can be fixed in future orders by emailing the groom and bride confirming who is bringing which flowers where on the day of the wedding. All in all I would definitely recommend their services!

Flowers of the Field handled all of the arrangements for my wedding this past June! From the flowers for me and my maids, the guys, the 22 tables and the cake all was amazing! They were a pleasure to deal with too. So creative, friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be using them again when the need arises! The owner is the sweetest person I have ever met. He always gives me suggestions and the price is very reasonable. I love this place and I will recommend it to friends and family. I was supposed to get a delivery of flowers for Mother’s Day, on Saturday, May 10th. They were sent to me by my son and daughter-in-law. My son advised me of this on SUnday. By SUnday night, they still had not arrived, so I advised my son of this. He told me that he had recieved an email confirming delivery and that they had been signed for by someone with the initials«DLC». So I tried to find out who«DLC» was, and got no answer. I checked with 2 other buildings on our property, thinking that maybe the flowers were accidentally delivered there, but they did not have the delivery. I rang the doorbells of my neighbors, and they didn’t sign for them. My son called 1800FLOWERS, to check on the order, and I found out that the order was supposed to be delivered on SATURDAY!!! As of SUnday, they still had not arrived and there was no message on my answering machine. I was told that the flowers would be delivered on Monday. SO I waited all day Monday(cancelled all of my appointments to be here to accept the delivery) but the flowers STILL were not delivered! I was home ALLDAY, and nobody attempted to deliver them! I informed my son and he called 1800FLOWERS again, and they told him that I would have the flowers before noon on Tuesday. By noon they still had not arrived so I called 1800FLOWERS and they connected me with Flowers of the Field. When I spoke with them, they gave me nothing but excuses! They complained that there was nobody in the gate house(which was true), but I was home on Sunday and again on Monday, all day!!! Other vendors have no trouble ringing up from the call box, so that we can release the gates to give access! Then the owner got belligerent with me… he said my delivery guy tried to deliver three times, and i’m not in business to have my guy try to make deliveries that can’t be made!(I find it odd that NOTONCE did he leave a message on my phone that they were trying to deliver flowers… or to even ask when we would be home to accept them!) He was talking in circles, so I began to lose my temper. I asked when I would get my flowers… and I reminded him that these were a gift from my son for Mothers day that were intended to make me happy, and that this experience was doing just the opposite! I asked when they would arrive and he said that he NEVER represented that they would be delivered by 12:00. He said they would be delivered by 7:00. So I got furious, because he wasn’t giving me the courtesy of attempting to get the flowers to me sooner!!! I reminded the person I was speaking to that I have been waiting since Saturday! But he was indifferent and insensitive to this! Then he said he was NOT going to deliver the flowers and we should order them from someone else!!! When I told him that we would do a story on this for the public to be made aware of this, his response was«are you threatening me»? And I repeated what I had said to him. He said«well nobody watches that TV station anyway», and he hung up on me!!! So my husband called 1800FLOWERS and spoke with a supervisor in the corporate offices! They are doing an investigation on this matter! They also arranged for another florist to delivery my Mother’s Day Flowers today! We have 70 owners in our townhouse complex; we have a lot of friends in the area… and we will make sure that everyone we know hears about this story!!! Hell would have to freeze over before we would use Flowers of the Field to buy flowers! They don’t care about their customers; they aren’t familiar with the most BASIC rule in sales: THECUSTOMERISALWAYSRIGHT!!! They don’t treat people with respect! We recommended to the corporate office that they be removed as a vendor.
