Chicken Delight

I just had the barbecue grill chicken and it was slamming I’ve been eating chicken delight for years .i saw some of the new items on the menu so figured I’d give them a try. the chicken was awesome

Just got my order and I must say it is pretty darn good! The chicken is not greasy and was seasoned just right. The fries were a bit well done but not greasy and very, very crispy. They were tasty and the portion size was very generous too. I have been passing this place for so long and always wanted to check it out. Glad I did and I will order again for sure. Delivery time was good also. Definitely recommending Chicken Delight. Awesome job you guys. :)

Crazy good kitchen. Best within a 5 mile radius. Sides… ehhh doable but we are not here to order… We are here eat some good. old fried chicken! This place makes them. perfect! Crispy, juicy, hot !

Perfectly cooked, juicy chicken. Corn nuggets and french fries delivered crispy and hot. Friendly delivery driver. Ordered twice in one week and the food was exactly the same, perfect, both times!

Love this place. It’s a late post. Went there on Saturday afternoon. Had two piece snack. It was delish! The batter has changed but over all it was good. 7÷5÷15

Best place to get fried chicken, much better than KFC. I order all my fried chicken from here.

When we get a hankering for fried chicken, we always call Chicken Delight. The chicken always arrives hot and juicy with nice, crispy skin. Yes, the delivery time is about 45 minutes but it’s worth the wait for freshly made, delicious chicken.
I have to agree with other reviewers on the sides… nothing special but we don’t call Chicken Delight for their sides.

Ordered delivery tonight, and never will again. The chicken was soggy, and tasted terrible. I hoped the sides would help fix the meal. The mashed potatoes were terrible as well, drenched in a salty and burnt tasting gravy I immediately poured out. The macaroni and cheese was bland and tasted of really cheap artificial cheese. The whole meal was gross and not worth the amount I spent. I would never recommend this place, even if they paid me. You can’t defend how bad the food.

The chicken tenders are delishhhhh, corn fritters are great & so is the yellow rice mix they have… service is always GREAT, food gets to me pipping hot all the time… the seasoning they use on their chicken is on point… will continue to order

I’ve been eating from this place since childhood. The chicken has always been great! I do agree with the other person about the sides. They’re eh. Stick to the chicken.

I only order the rib snack, but I could literally survive off it when I stay in Jersey. Not a fan of the cheesy chicken. Fair priced and convenient. Fast delivery.

Yumm chicken delight. Delicious fried chicken and even better hot sauce that the manager makes himself. The ribs are to die for yet a bit pricy. I like their corn nuggets too. Everything else is just ok but definitely good service, fast delivery and they’re friendly. I would def recommend this place!

Chicken is pretty good, sides are terrible. So far I’ve tried the fries, potato salad, and corn nuggets. The fries are bland and have a bad taste to them that can’t be helped with salt or ketchup, the potato salad is all white (those who know a good potato salad know it should have some color from the seasoning, eggs, celery, etc) and smelled bad so I refused to even take a bite.
Order the chicken, make your own sides.

Let’s just say the only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because I have only done delivery. I ordered online which I feel like usually has awful service, but this place was amazing!
I ordered for 4 people. I got two 5 piece lunch specials, one 3 piece lunch special, two chicken legs, a corn on the cob, and 2 cheese cakes and the total was only 40 bucks! Their delivery fee is only 1.25.
About 10 – 15 min after I ordered a lady called me to tell me they didn’t have one of the drinks I had ordered with the lunch special.
The food showed up about a half hour after I ordered and was still steaming! The delivery guy was very kind and waited for me to walk down to open the door for him.
Once I bit into the chicken I was greeted by the perfect amount of crispy mixed with extremely moist chicken. The Mac and Cheese was exceptionally good and the corn on the cob was the perfect amount of buttery goodness. And from what I heard about the potato salad it was awesome. Also their honey mustard was way above average. We got 4 lemonades (which are their own restaurant lemonade) and it was delicious.
Don’t get me started on the cheese cake… It was some of the best I’ve ever tried. It wasn’t extremely thick and the perfect amount of flavor. WilL DEFINITELY be ordering from here again.

The fried chicken is great! However, they don’t make for very good leftovers the following day, so make sure to eat it while it’s fresh and hot. The corn nuggets & fried shrimp were good too. As well as their ‘healthy’ serving of french fries. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the macaroni salad. I believe the only other option is the potato salad which isn’t very special either.
The place delivers which is a big plus. Delivery can be tricky for something like fried chicken, but they do a great job. I’ll certainly be ordering from here again.

3 stars. Only have done delivery from here. But it’s the only place that provides fried chicken delivery around here so it gets some marks for that. But I’ve never ordered from here without some level of regret. I’d resorted to driving to pick up fried chicken from other places. Just average fried chicken.
Food: I love fried chicken (like everyone else). I like a crispy batter with succulent chicken pieces that doesn’t feel too greasy. Maybe it’s because of the delivery, but the chicken here is overly greasy. More grease than chicken juices unfortunately. So it feels really heavy when you’re eating it. I suppose it’s a good thing so you don’t go overboard — thank you? And the sides are not good — just tastes overcooked or rushed. Basically you won’t feel great after eating it. You won’t get sick but you’ll feel shitty.
Prices: decent for a chicken place. But you get what you pay for I guess and not in a good way.

The restaurant is not much to look at has the ‘ol dirty Chinese’ restaurant feel.
The chicken is VERY fresh and not too greasy or oily.
Everything was made fresh and tasted really good. We got the 7-​piece chicken meal and the corn nuggets which were really good! Crinkle cut fries were also nice and cripsy.
Very friendly service as well.

I just ordered some food for delivery from Chicken Delight.
The chicken breast is delicious — tender and juicy with just the right amount of greasiness to it.
The portion of French fries I got is humongous. It’s enough for 2, maybe even 3 people.
I absolutely love the corn nuggets. They are crispy on the outside, but warm, sweet and gooey on the inside. (I just wish they came with some kind of a Chipotle Mayo sauce. It would complement the taste of the nuggets perfectly.)
I’m not a big fan of the mac’n’cheese. It tastes like they used Velveeta or some other artificial cheese.
The potato salad is a-​okay.
The delivery took about 50 minutes. And the person who brought the food was extremely friendly and polite.
Overall I’d order from that place again in the future.

Good chicken. I often get it for a group meal… not only do the others like it, they’ve even known where I got it by name… must be a solid, reliable product.

I won’t tell you how many I’ve had for fear my doctor is reading this. I will tell you they are made fresh, with fresh chicken unlike most places using a bag of them from the freezer.
I often get them via their lunch combo which is filling and affordable. I get the hot sauce instead of the honey mustard. I have never finished the french fries… a seemingly insurmountable pile is included with the tenders, along with a soda
…uhm, I’m making money on THIS deal!
The staff is both friendly and competent. What’s also nice is they work like clockwork. If they tell you it’s going to be 10 minutes… in 10 minutes your food is ready.
It’s great to have a place you count on like this one.
