Applebee’s

I’m not a fan of Applebee’s but i’m a big fan of triple chocolate meltdown which is the best dessert that Applebee’s has. At least twice a week me and my girlfriend go to this place to eat it and we were really enjoying till meeting with worst waiter (Joshua) and waitress (‘Sam’antha) around the world. I don’t wanna write about them but i can say that this franchise will lose a lot of customers like us because of these two guys. If you go there and see that your server is one of them, change your mind and leave from there asap if don’t wanna mess up your diner. By the way i really appreciate to the rest of staff but because of this two i had to write this review. I’m not gonna go this place anymore but i’ll definitely go to other Applebee’s to have this perfect dessert…

Hostess Sonnya not friendly not accommodating had a huge line of people and just stood around talking with another employee

Sat at the bar. Didn’t get any attention from anyone for about 10 mins while 3 of them were chatting it up in the corner. Found a hair in our food. I thought servers mostly made money off of tips. Not going to make much tip not paying attention to your customers. Worst Applebees I’ve been to.

I don’t even know where to begin. I went t a few nights ago and the service was so unpleasant my appetite literally went away. They say us down and didn’t even provide eating utensils. The waitress came with out appetizers and I had to wait like 10 minutes for forks. Once we were finished with our appetizers we literally waited more than 20 min for the waitress to take our order, she took so long and since on the tablet you can only order appetizers and dessert. We went straight to dessert. She had been sitting with the other waitresses or hosts in the back talking. The one waiter I can’t complain about it Andres wonderful young man, next time I’ll know not to sit in the young ladies section.

I would give this two and a half if I could because it’s in between 2 and 3… The service is not that great, the waitors take too long … Even when it’s not that many customers

It’s an Applebee’s. I don’t think there’s any need to go into details about the food. The two times I ate in, the staff was very friendly.

I love Applebee’s, but the quality of this restaurant is not as good as the others. Very disappointed because I live close by but I don’t want to come here a second time.

The food’s always good and gets there quickly. This is the best location that serves Nachos Verde. I’ve been going there for 5 years now. I got to meet a few bartenders but my absolute favorites are Anthony and Cecelia! They are the ones I look and ask for every time I go there. They’re also the main reason why I gave this place 5 stars.

WE go to this applebees time to time to unwind after work for about 3 years now. Anthony has always been our bartender. He’s awesome at what he does and we go here because of anthony! He makes us feel welcome everytime and makes awesome drinks!!! He even listens to your concerns and give great advices. Yup. Goes above and beyond! BEST Bartender! Hands down! I would go to no other applebees but this one. Sit at the bar!

Food was good, drinks were good but the bartenders were totally clueless. If you’re working behind the bar, try paying attention to your customers, interacting with them, seeing if they need another drink…

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Absolutely worst service ever. To start off the hostess didn’t even greet us when we walked in. Then they just stared at us until I finally asked for a table for 3. Then our waiter kept forgetting what we ordered and kept coming back to ask us (maybe he would have remembered if he had written it down, just maybe). Along with that, of course our order came back messed up. Then the waiter had the audacity to argue with us saying that we didn’t say that or something else. I should have listened to the low stars on this place. I will not be returning to this Applebee’s.

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Waited half hour and the waitress never showed up. they only had 10 customers to serve with 10 employees. Rude and unprofessional losers. Please do your self a favor and avoid this crap shit place.

My coworkers and I visited this location and our service in the bar area was magnificent! The server was attentive and the drinks were great. Hey they shouldn’t mess up at happy hour… Wings check, spinach dip check, chicken quesadillas check, and sweet potato fries check.
So far so good we will return to this location for happy hour

What happened? This used to be my favorite place for wings. They changed the recipe. You get a tiny little metal tray instead of the basket. Smaller portion and no longer tasty.
So disappointed.

The service has gone way downhill.
I used to be a regular during lunch when Denali was working here. Excellent service and very timely
I came here today. Waited out front for someone to seat me. No one for 5 minutes. There was a couple with their daughter who was waiting there too. They left but I sat myself.
I figured it would take them a while to come over since I was a new person sitting there. The bar area was where I sat. It took 15 min for the bartender to notice me. I ordered a drink. 10 min later takes my order. I had to go up to bar to order. I got my food quick. That was the best and only good part.
She checked if I wanted anything. And that’s the last she came, despite me raising my hand a few times. Finally came and I ordered what I wanted.
It’s too bad she was texting on her phone for 10 minutes and NOT paying any attention to her customers.
I unfortunately had written a 20% tip as I asked her to run my card when I placed my order over the side of bar.
I wish I could leave 10%. 0 is cruel no matter what crappy service you get. 10% is my equivalent of 0.
Terrible. Has gone way downhill. I will never go back unless their management responds to this post.
Bad service. Stay away.

Great place to grab a late night snack or a quick bite to eat. There is usually some sort of promotion going on, especially in the bar area, so be sure to ask your waiter. Can’t say that I’ve ever experienced bad service at this location, overall food is good and the prices are fair.

Expensive garbage. Food is not fresh don’t matter what time of the day you come. Employees are not professional at all. Never coming her again.

The service at this Applebee’s is atrocious. Just about every server is rude, impatient, unapologetic, clumsy, stupid, and generally just does not care in the slightest about their job. The first time I came here the waitress dropped a large sugary frozen drink on the table that got all over everyone especially my mother, and I shit you not, she did not apologize once, and even argued to her manager later when we complained that «no one had mentioned whose drink it was» and she did not know where to place it… My response of course was to tell her that a good waitress generally knows who ordered what, but whatever. The management dismissed it quickly and stood by the idiotic waitress and said that if we had a problem we could take it up with corporate… GREAT customer service…
The second time I came here, I genuinely thought there might have been some improvement and so I wanted to give it a second chance. This time the even dumber and more careless waitress made a joke out of not knowing anything about the menu because it was «too much to remember and who has time for that?» I asked what one of the strangely named sauces tasted like to which she had no answer, she did however grossly misunderstand the question (HOW!!!) and thought that i was ordering a 7 dollar salad that when I asked if i had even ordered it (with a puzzled look on my face) her fake smile disappeared, she raised her voice and very sternly said «Uh YEAH, you did» I was pretty pissed off but I let it go with the intention of not tipping her. She then decided to ignore us for the rest of the night until we overheard her telling a waiter behind us that she «didn’t fucking care» if I didn’t order the salad, and that there «should be a bigger tip» from the inflated price…
This is all 100% true.
I believe the only reason this place is still in business is because of it’s location. I’ve never seen any one place with so many dirtbags who don’t give a crap about what they do or who knows about it. The people in charge of this place clearly don’t care at all about these problems, because I am not the only one to experience this. Do yourself a favor and go to the Outback Steakhouse in Edgewater or ANY other restaurant besides this shit hole and save yourself the stress of wanting to slap a waitress you don’t know across her stupid face. Yeah, it was THAT bad. The food was ok, though overpriced unless you get a special. The Hostess was nice as well.

The host was pretty friendly, opened the door for us as we walked in, quickly sat us in a booth. It was a Tuesday and it was pretty dead, assuming because it was during the week and it was late too. Our server was nice but I do not recall her telling us about the drink specials. Which at the end I saw that if they didn’t tell us about it, we would get a free appetizer (not that we wanted or got one) anyways our food was pretty good. But as I continue eating I noticed on my strawberry lemonade there was a bug, I’m not sure if it was a fly or what not. And I had already sipped it so I hope it just had happen to fly into my drink. I couldn’t get a hold of my server so I told the Host to please get me another drink. A few minutes later a lady brought me a new drink and apologized. Not sure if it was the manager.
The bathrooms weren’t so bad, but could definitely be more clean, there was toilet paper everywhere. (at least they had toilet paper)
Our bill wasn’t so bad but you would think they would at least take the lemonade out of courtesy.

I suppose if you’re expecting a world-​class experience at Applebees, you were probably born yesterday.
But there are simple things that can immediately improve one’s experience at a restaurant… even an Applebees.
Better service please! — When you walk in and there are crazy number of tables vacant, I don’t expect to be waiting over 5 minutes to get seated. My biggest pet-​peeve though is probably how long it takes for drinks to come out. I saw my table’s beers just sitting on the pick-​up counter for over 5 – 10 minutes until the waiter finally got around to picking them up and bringing them to our table. I don’t want to also flag down a waiter for a really long time for simple requests like getting a menu, refill or placing a food order. Also, clean the table and seats before seating us. Just looking around, you can see a good number of staff just standing around and talking to their co-​workers. Not really a good sight to see. At least the bathrooms are relatively clean.
The food is ok. Can’t really complain about half-​price appetizers after 10pm. You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately, there really isn’t anywhere else to go around the area for cheap drinks and food late at night so I will probably continue to drag myself here when I want to watch a game without paying an arm and a leg.
