This place is a hidden gem. We were returning from Snoqualmie and stopped for Breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. The waffle was delicious. Everything we are was delicious. I don’t know how good lunch and dinner is but breakfast is yummy!

Stopped in on our way down from the mountain. Although there were plenty of empty tables, we waited while they cleared the dirty tables along with a couple of other parties waiting. We sat down at 11:45, and after waiting several minutes for someone to take our drink order, we were told«you need to order breakfast. We don’t serve lunch until noon.» Ok. Once she took our order, it was only 5 minutes until noon. They couldn’t accommodate oatmeal. Even though it’s on the menu. We requested our eggs on the side. The kitchen put them on top of the biscuits and gravy. The waitress told us, very annoyed–«they put the eggs on top. If you really want them on the side, you’ll need to wait while they make it again. Ok, we will wait. Fine, but you’ll need to wait awhile.» Thankfully they didn’t take long. But they weren’t waiting at all for. Oiliest biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. The eggs weren’t made properly. The waitstaff seemed annoyed to be there and be bothered to do their job. Everyone seemed rushed even though it wasn’t busy at all. The coffee was poured leaving a mess all over the table without even an oops. Next time just keep driving to issaquah before you stop.

Excellent hot wings, I mean usually wings rely too much on the sauce, but these wings are plump, tender and honest to God excellent quality… the sauce just makes them Rock more!

I visited this place a week ago and watched 7 people walk out the door due to slow/poor service. I wish I had. The food was actually good, but the service was terrible. After standing backed against the coat hooks at the entrance for 20 mins with a small child because there was no one bussing tables, I knew they were busy. Maybe they were short-staffed, but using being busy as an excuse not to look at your guests in the eye or to walk by them without acknowledging them and expecting them to follow you to the table is plain rude. And dropping off food and never checking back is just not cool. And the staff being irritated when given feedback in a nice way is unprofessional. Lovely view, décor and good food – that is why there is one star for this review. But to see them losing business because people are not being taken care of is a missed opportunity. I thought the business owner should know what was going on.

The staff was in a big hurry for no reason at all. Café was mostly empty. Wouldn’t let us sit at the window though there were plenty of tables available and looked annoyed the whole time they took our order and gave us our check? Not sure what their deal us but we decided not to eat here, paid for our overpriced drinks and left this rather unwelcoming place in a hurry. There are other, friendlier places to eat at around here and we found one.

The food is pretty good, the drinks are better. The servers can be surly, but it’s not personal. The atmosphere and views make up for the lack of warmth from the crew though. It’s a good hometown kind of place if you aren’t the type that needs to share your life story. The garlic fries alone are worth a stop in.

Cute establishment and a pretty location. Easy to get to off the freeway. Those are the good things. Walk in and was greeted by a young lady who didn’t smile, didn’t even speak to us, just seated us and walked away. Next young lady came by the table and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Water and soda. Not hard. Came back and seemed a bit annoyed that I asked about breakfast… she explained I had 10 minutes until they stopped serving it. left our table and returned a few minutes later. took our order. I ordered a deli sandwich(Turkey and Bacon). It was toasted??? The bacon was cold and I actually folded it in half and set it on the side of my plate. It was a poor excuse for a deli sandwich. I was hoping it was soft bread that would stick to the roof of my mouth when I bit in… nope more like cut the roof of my mouth. Nothing special about this menu. Tried it, would not be back. The wait staff was not dressed in any type of uniform. However if yoga pants and gym thirty was the uniform for the day… yhe staff nailed it! The guy at the table next to us git so fed up with swatting at the flies that he damn near killed one with his fist to the table … giving me a heart attack! Sorry but the tip was«already figured out» strike 3…

Went here after a hike at Rattlesnake Ridge in the mid-afternoon. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the service was really slow. At one point we thought about asking someone to check on our order but there was no one around to ask. We ordered a cheeseburger and a turkey panini — both were fine but not great. Bottom line, this place has okay food and while the staff is nice, they could do a better job paying attention to the customers.

Two of us visited the restaurant for the first time on 9÷19÷15 around 1:30pm. There are good and bad things to say about the restaurant. The bad things can easily be fixed. The back dining room area has a great view of the golf course. The walls and ceiling were wood and it’s exactly what you would expect for this town. I liked the look. I really didn’t like the camera looking over all of the diners. I understand watching the front door and the register but not the diners. I couldn’t get over the number of flies in this area. After about 15 mins or so, we had to move to the front of the restaurant because we couldn’t take the flies any longer. They are really bad. Psst… Hey Riverbend Café, you can see us swatting at the flies then get up and move on your camera. The front area was nice. They even have a stove for winter heating. I really liked the waitress but she didn’t know if the burgers were made fresh or frozen. They were frozen. She recommended the«Italian Beef Sandwich.» The description right under the name said that it’s a French dip. That is the dumbest name for a sandwich that I’ve ever heard of. Why don’t we call your café an Indian restaurant and serve American sandwiches? I have to say that the sandwich was really good. The meat was tender and the bread was nice and soft with a slight crunch on the top. It was worth it. The French onion soup was fine. It was made correctly. Maybe they can name it Italian soup to go with the Italian French dip sandwich. Other bad stuff: The menus were falling apart. You can see from the pictures that I uploaded. The inside of the drinking glasses on our table were wet! You could see condensation on the inside. They were obviously placed upside down on the table right after they came out of the dishwasher. The heat caused the condensation. That has to be a health concern. Bacteria and/or mold can form. The girl that cleans off the tables needs to calm down. She would stand at the front bar and laugh loudly with one of the guy employees. I mean, she was really loud. I also didn’t like how the employees dressed. They don’t have to wear uniforms but if they all dressed the same(black pants and polo) then they would look much more professional and it would give the café more of the country club/golf café look. Wearing stretch/gym pants in a restaurant doesn’t work.

This is a great local spot — especially for lunch or dinner. I like the Caesar salad, love the pork chop, and my stand by is definitely the Italian Beef Sandwich. My husband loves the meatloaf and my daughter loves their pie. For a restaurant that caters to locals at least half the year, they do not rotate their menu enough. It has gone through several iterations of ownership, and is a great place in terms of location, but it lacks two things: consistently friendly staff and variety of meal choices. Also, we are not huge fans of breakfast there. We will continue to come for our favorites, but would love to see them listen to some feedback and up their game a bit.

Best meatloaf I have ever had. The blackberry pie was delicious and the beer selection was great. Great happy hour spot for after a long hike!

This is the«19th hole» restaurant for the attached golf course. It is also the friendly neighborhood Sunday brunch destination. We had Cobb salad and Rueben sandwich, both were exactly what I would expect. Rueben came with Tomato and Basil soup. Quite good. The waitress told us that they ran out of water carafes and we will need to wait for the water. That’s a bit strange. Otherwise, she was friendly and prompt. I would not make this a destination, but I will definitely come if I am in the neighborhood.

Sweet little restaurant nestled in the woods… sitting on the golf course — Seattle sunshine and an outdoor patio… doesn’t get any better. Service was good and the gal was so attentive for our small babes bringing their fruit and bread early to keep them happy. Lots of comfort food on the menu… we will definitely be back!

The restaurant itself is quaint and cute. The view of the golf course adds a nice touch and the food has always been good. However, without fails the few times I’ve come the staff/servers are so unbelievably rude. They act as if customers are an inconvenience to them and they are too busy to put a smile on their face. The crazy part is that they are rude whether they are busy or not.

Riverbend Café is a great little stop for hikers coming from the Rattlesnake/John Wayne trails area. On my way into Cedar Butte, I saw this place and decided I had to try it when I was done with my hike! Sure enough, I was starving at the end of my adventure. Upon arriving and getting out of my car, the area smelled like straight moldy bread. I was so nervous that that smell was a precursor to the quality of food, but thank goodness it wasn’t! The girl who seated us wasn’t overbearingly nice, she seemed to just being herself, which I liked. The décor of Riverbend is adorable. So quaint and cozy! I ordered the Italian panini, which was a grilled panini stuffed with ham, salami, peppercinis, mozzarella, and garlic. It was okay! Not overwhelmingly delicious but it was still good. I got the baked potato soup to pair but it literally just tasted like sour cream… And the bacon that was inside it was tasteless. It was disappointing. My sister said her chicken tenders were«okay» and with her being seven years old and chicken tenders being her usual meal of choice… Well. She’s practically a chicken tender connoisseur, so I’m taking her word for it. The fries were also okay. Not amazing, but okay. One thing that did make me pretty happy was how strong their coffee was. That’s something I’m always in the mood for! In the future, I’m sure that I’ll visit Riverbend again just because of how much I hike in the area.

Pretty mediocre breakfast and takes a decade and a half for them to bring out the food on a slow day. Decided to grab a quick bite here before hiking rattlesnake ledge which turned out to not be so quick after all. I ordered an egg dish and I guess they attempted melted cheese on top but it was poor attempt because it looked like the cheese on top of a frozen pizza when it’s still frozen. Very cozy and homey, looks like a lot of local regulars. Service was decent and everything was moderately priced.

Walked in and it wasn’t as busy as I thought it should be for a Saturday morning. After being seated I realized why. there is only 2 waitresses. Took 10 minutes to get water.(*Side note* why such a small glass of water? Americans need to drink more water) While waiting for our food I was looking around the room. There are cobwebs all over the place. The carpet is very dirty. The food was good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly, gravy was very tasty. Service was slow, food was good and price was fair.
