My kids(6&3) have been going to see coach Penny and her staff for the last year and a half. Gymnastics class is their favorite part of the week. This year our youngest is in their preschool program(twice a week for 3 hours) and is dancing and doing gymnastics all while in a pre-school classroom. This is perfect for her, as she is a kinesthetic learner and is really benefitting from easing into a classroom environment — learning to stand in line, taking turns and following instruction. The difference in her behavior from the beginning of the year to now is night and day. My older child is in their boy’s program, which is hilarious to watch. The boys are like a pack of puppies compared to the girl’s classes. I don’t know how he does it, but coach Brad is able to keep them contained and moving through their skills. It’s great to watch. One little thing I find helpful with that they have wireless internet, which means I can work while the kids are in class. It’s a small thing, but is really helpful for the parents. I think a previous poster had a bad experience about a cancelled party due to the fact that PSGD had to suddenly move the gym over the holidays. They had issues with their lease and moved from North Bend to Preston over the course of a couple of days. While it’s unfortunate that this person’s party got lost in the shuffle, our experience was great in that there was really clear communication about how they were handling the move. We have never had billing or communication issues, as opposed to our experience with Gymnastics East.
