Mt Si Board & Skate

My kid got car sick on the way to go skiing and we had forgotten to pack a change of clothes. We went to this store (only one open before 10 in the outlet mall) and while they were out of kids long underwear the owner (I think) Robin literally took the clothes off of her own child’s back and lent them to me for the day. How nice is that? I also did buy two pairs of ski poles. The store is a mix of consignment and new and when we went back to return the clothes it was full of happy customers.

I literally had the BEST experience at Mt. Si Board & Skate! The type of experience that leaves you smiling for the rest of the day.
I was traveling east on I-​90 for a day snowshoeing in the mountains when we stopped in North Bend for a pit stop. It was only then, while pumping gas and daydreaming about the adventures to come, that I realized I was wearing my house clogs and FORGOT my boots! At this point being about 45 mins. away from home I thought the day was going to be a total bust: Enter Mt. Si Board & Skate shop!
The owner opened the shop a little early for me and not only gave me a discount on my purchases (just because she was awesome) but she also rented me snowboard boots, which worked perfectly for snowshoeing, for $ 5. FIVE DOLLARS for the whole day! She literally saved the day and I made sure to tell her that over and over.
