Less then impressed with the food and very unhappy with the price and service! I’m surprised they don’t charge for the plates, napkins and forks everything thing has a price sticker on it.

I’ve been to Mongolian grills all over and this is the worst and most expensive. Do not judge Mongolian grills by this place. The food is much better elsewhere. The service here is alright, not rude but not friendly.

Food is ok but pricey. Price is by weight, ranging from 5.99(under 1 pound) to 11.99(3 pounds). Scale is not tare to account for the weight of the bowl, which cheats the customer. Signs tell you only one meat and only ¼ pound. Do you have any idea how much a ¼ of frozen shaved meat is? I sure don’t! Wanted to take a picture but the owner chastised me. «No take picture. Is against the law. Must have permission. You don’t.» Food was ok quality for Mongolian.

The only reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because I can’t leave a review with zero stars. This restaurant is a zero-star restaurant, based on its owners/employees and their business practices. First of all — beware. They charge by the weight and they do NOT tare the weight of the bowl, nor do they subtract it from the final weight. So you’re not only paying for the price of your food, but also for the weight of your bowl. I’d guess it’s about 8 ounces or so. The two employees I’ve encountered here appear to be the owners. Neither of them speak English. Neither does the guy who does the cooking, so don’t bother with any questions or requests. I tried asking the female employee/owner about taring the bowl and she just said«Yah» repeatedly and emphatically nodded her head to everything I said. I watched the female employee/owner yell at at least 4 people«Excuse me, 1 meat only!» when they tried to put more than one meat into their bowl. Granted, there is a sign that says«1 meat only«over that station but considering that you’re paying by the weight, what does it matter to them how many types of meat you choose? Seems a bit ridiculous to me. Last time I came here with my husband on a Friday night around 5pm. There was only one other table taken. The male employee /owner who checked us out(you put the food in the bowl, then on a scale and pay for it, and then it goes to the grill) didn’t look up at us a single time, nor did he say a single word to us. Even when we said hello, and thank you. How epically rude. What’s super disappointing is the food is your typical, wholesome Mongolian Grill food, and I don’t mind paying for the weight of it, but flat out rudeness and complete lack of customer service is going to keep me from coming back. It’s the only other food venue aside from Subway at the other opposite corner of the Outlets(because I don’t count Rocky Mountain Chocolate as a food venue :) it’s candy!) so they really have the potential for a great place here. Too bad.

I’ve never had worse customer service on such a consistent basis. The food is sub par, overpriced, and sits in bins not properly handled for the entire day. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any travelers or locals whatsoever. Find a local business that cares for their customers.

The owner is rude… food was not out there and when I asked to get some more chicken got alot of attitude this is a messed up place. I highly do not recommend this sxxx hole. Oh and to top that off he wanted to charge another dollar per scope of rice when we asked for rice mind you we paid over 55 dollars for 5 bowls and three were kids… my advice is this owner will not be in business long guaranteed.

My wife and I just had lunch. I have to say that it was the worst Mongolian grill experience we have ever had. They charge by the pound, you must arrange your bowl to there specifications, only one kind of meat, limited sauces, and poor service. We love Mongolian grill but will never return to the one in North bend.

This place is disgusting. The people who work here don’t wash their hands and touch all handles of the serving tongs to scoop food into your bowl. The carrots are not washed. The floor, tables and even walls are dirty and sticky. Their utensils are all dirty. The bottoms of our plates were sticky. And the lady running cash register was rude because my boyfriend wanted a soda and I didn’t. She said you only get 1 cup. Do not go here! Stay away. Go to Safeway across busy street for more sanitary place with better standards. I refused top eat and got money back.

BIGBUG in my daughter’s food. It was cooked right in. Needless to say, my family immediately stopped eating. I took the plate and bug to the counter and the lady just scraped the bug off and said make a new one. I was so grossed out. I told her no thank you we are all leaving and will not eat this food and I demanded my money back. She said wait for the manager. He came in and said there was no bug despite the woman seeing it. I got loud enough to get my point across then he voided the transaction. I will be checking with my bank to be sure they didn’t get any of my money. Besides that we were charged $ 2.25 per fountain drink but the machine was filled with all syrup so they gave us each a can of pepsi. This place should be shut down. So gross!

I am only giving this place one star because this was the lowest option! We walked in and there was no greeting from anyone. The set up is somewhat confusing and ere are signs every where on the maximum portions that you can get. The selection of the foods were not fresh and the meat choice was obviously processed and gross. To top that off the owner charged us twice for 1 glass of soda. And got into an argument with us over it. The lady demanded that we show her the recipt when she didn’t even give us one. There was only one employee who was willing to help this situation and by the looks of it he was intimidated by the lady and he retreated to attending the rest of the customers

Never been to a Mongolian grill before, so the boyfriend brought me here. The quality of food out didn’t seem bad. In fact, I liked that there was a fresh selection of good looking veggies and meat. Yes, you do pay by weight. I ended up spending more than I had initially bargained for, but it was good. Not sure what others said by the owners being rude. The man who rung us up, who I’m assuming was the owner, was pretty approachable. He even joked with us, so I think Bruce’s assessment that its a cultural difference that others perceive could be spot on.

Limited options at the Outlet mall led us here. We walked in and no one greeted us(not even eye contact) and there aren’t any signs telling you to start your order on the opposite side of the room. Acceptable quality of food and the variety is decent. Nonetheless you are watched diligently for over serving yourself. There are signs limiting exactly what you want: the meat and sauces. This place just doesn’t get it. If you’re going to make me pay for the weight of my food, let me get what it is that I want. While they still have their fortune cookies in an open-aired countertop tub right by the cash register, they now have napkin dispensers at every table.

I have been to this place back in 2006 and then in 2011 and recently in 2014. It was so better in old times than now. As commented by many people, owners are kind of gone crazy and have unique rules. «Rude» behavior is more of cultural difference but yes we have also notice them tracking the food portions(even sauce). In summary, if one gets stressed out while eating there, better not to go that place. We wont be going there again.

I’m a huge Mongolian Grill fan and was disappointed when the Issaquah location closed. We decided to check out the North Bend location having just moved to Snoqualmie Ridge. The service could not have been more rude and indifferent. It was as if the customer/employee roles were switched and I should be grateful just to be in their restaurant eating sub-par food. Cultural differences aside, there is a certain level of courtesy and politeness that should be extended from one human being to another no matter where you’re from. This existed in no way, shape or form. Food was average at best and is charged by weight which ends up being more expensive than other Mongolian Grills. Needless to say, steer clear of this place!

Stay away! Portion sizes for the price are a joke. Three or four spoon fulls of rice is an extra charge. Quality is lousy, they have very little option of sauces, employees are obviously under paid. Overall experience = never again.

Read the other reviews. They are true. Pretty strange. Won’t be back. Another patron got in a verbal argument with the owner. The owner is always right at this place.

This place deserves better rating. It’s located in a very convenient location and you’re in charge of how much and how fast you want your meal to be. You pick your own ingredients and they cook for you. They have a good selection of noodles, toppings and the service is fast. I’ve been to other places where they weigh your food and this place is definitely comparable in their prices.

I’ve read all the negative reviews, and I wouldn’t dispute those experiences. We go here every couple months, though, and I feel like I need to add a bit of balance. I’ve never been treated rudely, though I thought the proprietors were pretty brusque back in their early days. I honestly, though, think a lot of what’s perceived as rudeness falls more into the cultural differences category. Here’s what I experience there pretty consistently: A good selection of noodles and fresh veggies and other ingredients. A good selection of different sauces and oils to add before cooking. A good selection of sauces & toppings to add after cooking(teriyaki, sesame seeds, etc.) Yes, the meat(chicken, pork or beef) is frozen, but it’s never looked quiestionable. Yes, there’s a sign that says no more than ¼ lb of each, which is a joke, since you have no way of knowing besides guessing. On the other hand, nobody has ever challenged me, or anyone else around me when I’ve been there. Yes, it’s a bit pricier than some other other Mongolian grills I have been to, but it’s not outside the realm of reasonable. Yes, they do weigh the bowls, and yes, they also allow you to take home leftovers. The last time we were there(me, wife, two kids), the woman came over to our table and asked if we’d like to have our leftovers boxed up. When she returned with them, tied up neatly in a bag(nice touch, if you ask me), she also brought fortune cookies for the kids. She was actually quite warm and personable, to both the kids and to us.
The truth is, I don’t recall ever having had a bad experience there. We’re pretty easygoing, which probably helps. It also helps that my kids will always eat there, because they can get the ingredients they want. If you live in the area and you’re in the mood for Mongolian, this is worth at leas a visit to check it out. Ignore the signs, and don’t try to infer too much. And you just might find that it’s a decent meal with mostly fresh ingredients, at a reasonable price.

The rules are a bit different here than other«Mongolian» places I’ve been to. Things are done by weight rather than volume. That being the case, they don’t have any mushrooms set out, and I’m guessing it’s because they don’t weigh enough for the price. Ir’s not exactly pricy, but I ended up paying a bit more that I would have at other places named«Mongolian Grill.» The food was good, but I wasn’t impressed by the available choices. This is still a better idea than McDonald’s or many of the other fast food places.
