If it’s not bad enough that the food and service are horrible, it is also overpriced! Worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. Couldn’t even eat my food it was so awful. Never again.

Have to admit, didn’t actually eat… Cause chips and salsa were enough to know we should move on. Drinks were great, Shannon the bartender rocks. But her skills are wasted here. Oh well she has a job. :-) you can just tell the food not so good. 80s music in the bar though.

Third time eating here. It’s our best option to feel as if we are visiting Cabo. The service is fast and friendly, the food is reasonably priced and very good.

book an appointment at a hospital before you go here. Ugly, dirty and stinking. My wife and I had the worst diarrhea, indigestion, upset stomach after having food here. Not even an upscale restaurant to begin with, the food is very expensive. I ordered my arroz con pollo — make it hot(consumable), I saw Chef and the waitress turn around and ‘smile’ at each other. Don’t know what was communicated, we definitely suffered. Stay the hell out of this place.

If you’ve ever been to Azteca, you’ll feel right at home here. It’s like a more modern, cleaner Azteca with quicker service and employees who are more polite. They have a «club» you can join electronically at the check in counter, on a tablet, and you get 1 free entrée after 7 visits. We had a gigantic burrito, kids tacos, Arroz con Pollo, and the mushroom & shrimp dish. Here’s where I can’t do 5 stars: the food is fairly bland for Mexican food. The burrito didn’t have enough of the sauce on it. My mushrooms and shrimp didn’t have ANY sauce on them. Very surprising. The Arroz con Pollo was decent but again, a bit dry and lacking enough sauce. Same goes for the tacos: dry. The portion sizes were enormous. But I would personally prefer a smaller, more flavorful dish for the same price.

I have been here several times and every time I get the fajitas. It is very«American» Mexican food… you know like hard shell tacos and stuff like that. I am usually a fan of more«authentic» Mexican food. But if you are in the mood for fajitas and you are in North Bend you don’t have a lot of choices… check it out

First of all, I want to speak to all the negative reviewers here by saying«Whaaaaaat?!» You’re wrong. This food was amazing. Best Mexican food I’ve tasted in 15 years(since I moved from Texas). I cried as I ate it, and I laughed because I was crying. The portions were huge!(That’s the part I would say is most American) the service was great — polite, prompt, and thoughtful. The food came out quickly and deliciously. I would definitely travel back from Seattle just for the food again.

The good thing about going to rural areas is that food is noticeably cheaper. This place may seem like an ordinary Mexican diner, but if you order the lunch specials, you’ll find that they serve good food without charging too much for it. And isn’t that really what going to restaurants is all about? You can’t lose with that combination. To start off, the waiter was friendly and referred to me as «amigo.» The food was quite filling; I thought I was just ordering a seafood burrito, but they totally piled on the avocado, sour cream, and diced tomatoes. To the side were beans and rice, and within the burrito itself were a lot of little shrimp. For my modest lunch, I wasn’t expecting them to go all out, but they exceeded my expectations. For food at North Bend next time, it’s definitely going to be this over Burger King, Taco Time, or McDonald’s.

It is an OK Mexican food place. We stopped by after an epically long drive(due to accidents) over the pass. The bathrooms are OK clean, the food is average. Nothing to write home about. The cleanliness is typical of place Mexican. Chips crumbs on seats. etc slightly ripped seats in some, but nothing terrible. Table was not sticky or anything. Ads on table was tacky, but gave me something to read. All in all, if you are hungry, needs to use the bathroom after the pass. Sure swing by, but don’t expect anything fancy.

The menu is extensive, and people were friendly, but the food(we got take-out) was pretty average. I had pork al pastor at a restaurant near Niagara Falls(!) last year, and it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. I’ve tried to find another place that replicates its smoky, pineappley goodness. I ordered it at Los Cabos, and while it wasn’t terrible, the pork was chewy and there was no hint of fruit that I could make out.

Just an avg Mexican diner. I got the Mucho burrito. It was average. Mu wife got the chicken fajita. Chicken was really good, really good, but they don’t give you much. It loomed like a plate of onions with a few peppers and chicken. The chips for the chips and salsa, I didn’t like. Service was quick and good. Like I said average joint.

My second time here. Astounded by how bad the food is. Really not worth going to unless you HAVE to use the bathroom on your way back from the mountains.

Went there for lunch last friday. There to celebrate my sisters birthday. I had the carne asada and it was delicious! The place was clean and the service could not have been better. Next time I am in North Bend I will go there and get the same thing.

Don’t let the other reviews deter you, this place is exceptional! Los cabos is family owned and my husband and I drive 30 miles every time we come here because we live in Kirkland but cannot find any Mexican food that even slightly compares in our area. We’ve been here over 30 times and have only been disappointed once because their usual pork supply was back ordered and the pork they substituted it for was not nearly as tender and juicy as the shredded kind. Their pork carnitas tacos are the best pork carnitas tacos we’ve ever had… when they have the good pork. We’ve had their fajitas, enchiladas, multiple pollo dishes(pollo a la crema, arroz con pollo etc), variations of tacos and more. All delicious. The service depends on the waiter but it’s never been bad, sometimes just average and other times superb. It is not the cleanest place but I’ve never had dirty silverware or cups and have never found hair or anything that doesn’t belong in my food which is more than I can say about other restaurants I’ve frequented, Mexican or not. Some of the other reviewers need to get over their first world problems(like the fact that the hole in the ground where they take a shit is not as clean as they’d like it be) and appreciate authentically delicious Mexican food served by genuine people!

Awful, horrible, terrible service & the place is nasty dirty. If I had used the bathroom prior to sitting down I would not have eaten there! The food was merely ok & not nearly hot enough. The worst part was the service in the bar. Shannon S was serving & spent the majority of her time laughing, talking & flirting with the people sitting at the bar. She was loud & obnoxious & not attentive to the other patrons in the bar. I will never go back!

Compared to other Mexican restaurants this is not the best. However compared to other restaurants in north bend this is on par. I have had a few times of really slow service. Like waiting 30 minutes for the check. The food portions are huge. The alcohol is good. The food is comparable to other Mexican restaurants. We definitely go here when in the mood for a good Mexican meal but it isn’t or first pick of restaraunts in north bend.

So glad I did not let the other reviews get to me! Not sure what all the fuss is about with the low ratings! So you don’t like the bathrooms or the décor… blah, blah, I am not looking for 5 star dinning décor in North Bend– BUT the food was delicious! My husband and I stopped here last night after a long drive from Quincy and were a bit scared to try it because of all of the Unilocal complaints. They closed at 9:30 so as we walked in I was shocked at how graciously everyone welcomed us. I also started getting a good vibe when I saw regulars walk in that were greeted by name and a lot of Mexican people at a Mexican restaurant is always a good sign :) We ordered: Chicken Tortilla Soup(minus the tortilla strips, tends to soak up the broth) its the BEST tortilla soup I ever had. Fresh veggies, loved the slice avocado, tasty clear chicken broth with cony white breast chunks. If you love soup, get this! Carne Asada with Chile Relleno– My staple go to dish when trying a new place. A-mazing! The meat was so tender it had to marinated and it had a nice grilled taste to it. I never order Chile Relleno but got it as a back up… I’m glad I got it. It was fresh and I like that it was dipped in egg. Overall, I will definitely will be returning!

Huge improvement! This place was taken over by new management and it is soooo much better. The food is excellent and the menu had a lot more choices including Pescado Frito(fried fish) and Siete Mares Sopa(Seven Seas Soup). The SIete Mares Sopa is one of the best I have ever seen and eaten. Lots of seafood in a large bowl including king(or snow?) crab, clams, mussels, octopus, fish, scallops… what else swims in the ocean? The margaritas are not too sweet. Chips and salsa are good. Chili Colorado was good. Even our five year old was happy with her plate they happily customized for her tastes. Service was fast and professional. Next time I am at North Bend shopping, I am sure to be hungry because I know where to go eat. They have a bar with a TV to watch sports. It is clean and not full of loud drunks when we were there on a Sunday. Seemed to be a sane atmosphere.
