While the owner Mark is a nice guy, I have significant concerns about this place. We called Mark with a list of items we wanted done and concerns that we wanted checked out. We were given a $ 300 – 400 estimate. We made an appointment and dropped our vehicle off. There was no identified dropbox or envelopes for our keys so we needed to make an extra trip to drop those off separately during our work schedule(they open at 8am). We heard nothing from them so we called later that day and apparently they wrote us in for the wrong calendar day. We heard nothing the next day. We called two days later and they said it was done ready to be picked up, but we were not able to make it in time for closing at 5pm due to our work schedule. We asked for the bill to pay over the phone, and it was $ 900. We asked to speak with the owner who told us he had a dinner engagement and could not go over this line by line. He charged us five hours of work for what did not possibly take 5 hours to do – an oil change, replacement of simple parts, etc — my car’s timing belt took 4 hours from a very trustworthy mechanic. We went in the next day to clear things us. He did unauthorized work on our vehicle, never called us to say they were doing work significantly above the quoted price. He does not post the customers rights, which is required by law(i.e.: the right to an estimate, the right to authorization, ect…). He offered to lower the price but not at all a price we would have authorized for work to be done. Mark complained about being too busy, always on the phone, all really lame reasons for violating our customer rights. This company is very conveniently located for us and we heard other people with satisfactory reviews, but unfortunately we cannot go to a mechanic we cannot trust.
