Birches Habitat

This is labeled as just women’s clothes but it has SO MUCH MORE! First, walk into any house in the valley and you will find something from Birches. It has an awesome selection of artwork, knickknacks, gifts, jewelry, etc. it also has a cute card selection! Also, I encourage you to visit during Christmas because their Holliday selection is SO CUTE I wanted to buy everything!

This place is awesome. Fun eclectic items, always nice to just stop in and look around. Have purchased many birthday and Christmas gifts for others. Also love the clothing items, good prices too.

So many unique, cool gifts! The owner has a gift for finding a huge variety of goodies. We never leave empty-​handed!

Been meaning to check out this place since I live nearby. And wow! Love this cute little shop. Fun, one of a kind things for the home and super cute clothes, shoes, and accessories! Prices are very reasonable too!!! Love that it’s a local family owned boutique too

I stopped in today with a friend and was able to find some great pieces! I am thankfuk they carried true to size L and XL as many boutiques do not. I will be back!

Birches is my go-​to when I need to find beautiful, interesting gifts. I am nearly always successful, even when shopping for guy friends/​family. The only problem is that I also nearly always come away with a «gift» for myself. Usually it’s a new dress, because Birches always has very unique women’s fashion– often cuter than I’d find in Seattle boutiques, and at waaay better prices. That’s not to say dirt cheap, but I still always feel like I got a good deal. And judging by the number of compliments I’ve received while wearing Birches dresses, it seems a few other people agree :)
I really love some of the home décor too, especially the paintings. Someday when I’m rich and/​or don’t buy a new dress every month…
This is also one of the places I take my out-​of-​town friends and family when they visit. The ladies, young and old, have all really enjoyed it. A lot of the merchandise has a subtle PNW/​Seattle feel, without being tacky. Meanwhile the guys wander over to the offbeat books collection and browse about Weird Washington.
Oh, and the owners/​staff are super nice, with a clear interest in the community. I’m really happy to have this place in downtown North Bend.

LOVE this place. This is my go-​to shop in the valley when I want to treat myself or need a gift for a friend. The owners are SO kind and always talk to you when you come in. I love shopping here, and enjoy supporting a small shop in a small community.

I absolutely love this store for the unique and quirky! I often have to force myself to leave, wishing I had enough money to buy the entire store. They have some very pricey (in my opinion) items, however they also have some extremely affordable pieces. They have a great range of inventory and they are always getting new cool things. This is my «go to» place to get gifts for people for Christmas or birthdays. People are always asking «OMG where did you find that?» my reply? «At Birches Habitat» :)

What I love most about Birches, and why I always go there for the «hard to shop for» gift recipient, is the variety of items that I haven’t seen before. From clothes and jewelry to quirky books and art work, from household items to candles and cards, the items are consistently interesting and new and updated enough to keep me going back. Not to mention the wonderful customer service.

Not only is this place right next to my fav. coffee place in town (Toad’s) but it is lovely! I go with my mother a couple times a month. Any way you like to dress up your home Birches has something you won’t be able to live without. They have cloths that change with the seasons (silver jeans too), jewelry, and gifts. The owners are really nice and helpful! They maintain a facebook and are constantly uploading pictures of new items. If you LOVE ETSY this is worth the trip. I have seen summer dresses in this boutique that are sold in high end stores.
