My niece recently purchased wedding programs from Grime Designs and had SEVERAL problems with the order. There were several issues with the quality of the programs including creased corners and crooked die-cut lines. They also arrived late(were supposed to arrive within 2 – 4 weeks of ordering and it took over 5 weeks — they arrived the day before the wedding). The shipment not protected with proper packaging and the programs were just loosely packaged in a tyvek envelope then a cardstock envelope(no tissue, bubble or any other sort of protection). Because the programs were moving around loose inside the envelopes, the metal eyelets that were used to secure the programs together were scratching against the programs and made grey markings on them. And the programs were produced on extremely flimsy paperstock. We also ordered and paid for ribbon to tie bows on the programs and it was not supplied in the order. And if that weren’t enough, we ordered 125 programs and only received 107. The maid of honor had to go out and find ribbon at a local drugstore which wasn’t enough for all the programs but we had to go through all of them to salvage the ones with the least amount of damage which ended up being about 50 or 60 of them. We didn’t want to not have programs at the wedding so we gave them out — keeping back the worst ones. When we returned from the wedding I wrote to Grime Designs letting them know about all the problems and asked for a refund. I even included several photos of the programs for their review. They said they would issue a refund if we sent all the programs back, which obviously we could not do. We found this to be a completely unacceptable request considering all of the issues with our order. We had two other paper goods vendors who made mistakes in orders(the invitations and some custom labels) and both companies refunded or reproduced the orders, no questions asked. Grime Designs used to have an online account where you could purchase their product so I contacted that company as well and they told me that the Grime Designs account had been suspended due to failure to respond to order issues and instructed us to contact our financial institution for a refund. We’ve also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, this is fair warning NOT to use Grime Designs!
