Avoid this abomination at all costs I went in yesterday at around 1:20pm and ordered a sandwich wanting to use my rewards card to purchase the sandwich since I had about 120 points and the guy who rung me up named Eric who was an average sized Mexican or Bengali (I couldn’t really tell) refused to acknowledge my points telling me «oh we don’t do that here you think things are free in this country?» first of all Eric (at least that’s what he told me his name was) I come here all the time being a regular customer and I’ve never had an issue so now it looks like employees just make up there own rules not to mention his attitude every time I come here is asinine on so many levels. This is not the first time either his customer service skills are horrendous every time I come here so to further prove my claim I went on my phone to the website and showed him the page that provides info on the points card and what you can use them for and he began to laugh and walked away to the back without any response and wouldn’t come back to the floor until I left. To further add I came the previous nite at around 9:19pm to be exact with my whole family and we waited in line while the lady took about 10 minutes to make a previous customers 6 inch sandwich and when she finally finished it and we were anticipating our chance to order she sternly barks at us saying ok you better hurry up because my bus comes in 10 minutes as we looked at each other in disbelief we decided to just order and as my brother asked for an Italian foot long she screams «no! No! No! Only have wheat bread today» wtf?! I’m watching the cart behind her that’s full of bread of various sorts and your telling us you only have wheat? Wow is this how subway runs its business? Anyway as we all decided to just walk out and leave seeing as how she wasn’t interested in our business my brother being so hungry decided to just take the wheat bread and when she rung him up she didn’t even give up the price she just sternly replied swipe please and after my brother got home he realized she charged him extra for his meats and cheese which wound up being $ 10??? My brother didn’t even ask for extra toppings what’s worse is that when he opened the sandwich one half of the sub only had melted cheese and lettuce on it. We came here hoping to have a nice meal seeing as how we haven’t eaten all day because of a road trip and you ruin the evening by being lazy. I am so fed up with being disrespected by the employees in this particular place especially Eric who walks around with a cocky attitude and talks to customers like they stole his woman or something I honestly don’t understand how he still has a job here but I for one will no longer support this particular branch with my business ever again. Take my advice avoid this place at all costs. I’ll take the extra mile to go to the one on Uniondale at least they have far better accuracy and treat there customers with respect.
