Love this place been going here 1 – 2 times per month since it opened. I’ve tried just about everything they have on the menu which seems to change monthly. There has never been anything I haven’t enjoyed. Their steaks are pretty good. Tho it’d be nice to see a bone in ribeye for a change. The drink selection is abundant and are always made very well. The service is very friendly and prompt .They are always helpful if your not quite sure what you want (because it all sounds yummy). The rustic ambiance is great!
I also have a 5 and 9 year old who LOVE this place! The kids menu is amazing and they love sitting by the indoor fire pit area.
This would also make a great girls night out for drinks, or a fab date night out whether it’s your 1st or 100th! Also a good night out for the guys/(or gals) with the OTB!
All in all … 8 out of 10 for the family! Try it… You won’t be disappointed.

Love the Turf room great crafty cocktails and awesome martinis! The indoor wood burning fireplace is a good perk on the cold nights to get out and watch a Blackhawks game here. They also have a outside fireplace too in the summer, but it doesn’t keep away the mosquitos. If you don’t mind smelling like burnt wood when you leave its a great time with friends and family. It’s a kinda pricy for drinks and food but both are great. This is a hidden gem in the suburbs.

Whew. This place is pricey. I went here for dinner with a few of the ladies from work and I was taken aback by how much everything was. I don’t think any of the entrees were under $ 10. I settled on the ahi tuna salad, which has seared ahi tuna, fried brie cubes (that still had the rind on… ick), sliced apples, nuts, and spring mix. It was pretty good but I don’t think it was almost $ 20 good. My co-​workers got everything from the flatbread to the pastas, and they all seemed happy. I might have just picked a dud or let my cheapness influence my decision.
I will tell you one thing though: that goat cheese cheesecake is legit. It sounds disgusting but the goat cheese is so subtle that it just adds this little bit of earthy tang and it’s rounded out by the blueberry topping. That was worth every penny.

Went here for some after dinner drinks for my first anniversary with my wife. As usual, the staff and bar tenders were amazing. The bar tender we had even elected to pay for our first round with it being our anniversary, a very nice gesture. Drinks were amazing and arrived in a timely manner– even with the place being absolutely swamped.
My wife and myself will definitely continue to be regulars here, for the good food, service, and drink!

I wasn’t as enamored during my subsequent visit to The Turf Room as I was on my first trip. I had made reservations for 2, and although there was a nice open table near the big fireplace, we were seated away from the fire near the back of the dining room. The service was slow and impersonal. We asked for a minute to look over the menu and didn’t see the waiter for another 10 minutes. He got our beer order wrong and the food wasn’t as impressive as my first time here.
Filo Chicken $ 16 — The actual chicken was boring, but the sauce was good. Unfortunately, the waiter didn’t pack any of the sauce when I took my leftovers home.
Duck Pasta $ 18 — It looked really good, the noodles were cooked well, but I didn’t enjoy the taste of the sauce that much.
Lobster Mac & Cheese $ 13 — This was my favorite dish of the night! It was buttery and delicious. They should make one that’s a dinner portion.
This place is just cool.
The eternal flame offers an invitation of smoke and fire as you enter and that makes a statement. What kind of statement does that make? «Bold». I just like the visual and the smell of burning embers.
The bartenders are knowledgeable and the drinks are classy. The appetizers offer the perfect compliment to your cocktail of choice while the room setting is spot on vivacious.
The Turf Room is an Adult Playground so please do the right thing and take your kids to «Fuddruckers» instead!!!
