I haven’t been in this store in a while and I have to admit I felt a bit overwhelmed. I couldn’t really figure out how they set up the store, it sometimes seemed to be based on gender, sometimes age, so I did find myself walking around aimlessly a bit while I was looking for matchbox cars and puzzles for my nephew. However, the staff was friendly and willing to lead me in the right direction.

This is the WORST customer service experience I’ve EVER experienced. During the 2010(or possibly 2009), Christmas shopping season. Toys R Us had a huge lego sale that didn’t ring up as the sale prices at the register. The woman working was brand new, and was from a Rhode Island Toys R Us. She wasn’t able to get any help and the guys at the electronics desk were BULLYING her and not helping. After waiting over 36 minutes, a friendly woman came over to help, yet still didn’t give us aching off of the product. Terrible customer service. I understand they were so busy and had all 10 registers and the one I was at(towards the exit, separate from the other ones). Even if you live out here in North Attleborough(which I barely EVER visit anymore, too far and not enough reason to be there), drive down to the Bellingham Toys R Us or the Dedham Toys R Us. Both are incredibly better.

So… In what could have been a customer service nightmare, it was a Christmas miracle. I returned a gift without a gift receipt. Easy. Done. I go to pay for my new purchases with said gift return gift card u was just given and realized I must have dropped in somewhere in the store. I re-trace my steps to no avail. I had the receipt of the transaction but not the card itself. Ugh. I go back to the returns /customer service desk and they trust me, cancel out first transaction and reissue the credit. Yay! I go back pay for my purchases, with my credit and I’m on my way. Thank you for making this easy. My one negative for this store. Strangely NO cell service anywhere in the store. What? But great customer service when you need it. Done. Thank you.

I typically don’t give bad reviews but this is necessary. I ordered two small items online for store pickup. I arrived in store at 1:50 and waited in a line for about 10 minutes. When it was my turn the associate walked away to talk to another employee and do something. No «I’ll be right with you.» Just walks away. After 5 minutes another associate asks if I need help(no I just thought I’d stand here). I reply that I have an online order to pick up. He tells me she’ll help me around the corner. I round the corner to find yet another line?! I wait for the rude associate who walked away earlier to help me. I explain again why I’m there and mention I need to pick up my kids and I had been waiting already in other line for sone time. She takes a phone call(again no excuse me while I take this call). She tells me that someone is going to get it for me. I told her that I would wait off to the side. I wait and wait and wait…18 minutes! Finally another woman finishes with a client and asks if I need help. I explain(pointing to the rude associate that I’ve been helped but still waiting for my order. The rude associate points to a bag and the woman hands it to me. I understand it’s toys r us and Christmas but people get your shit together! It’s Tuesday afternoon! There’s 5 of you behind that desk! I don’t know what was worse, the complete disorganization and lack of communication between each other, lack of courtesy or inconsiderate behaviour! Just awful. I’m boycotting toys r us. You can get the same stuff for less on Amazon or in Target. Btw the time when I left was 2:22.

One thing I have against this location is the Breaking Bad merchandise they are selling. This is a toy store for kids! I don’t want to there with my niece and nephew and see a Breaking Bad character holding all the ingredients for making meth. Poor choice Toys R Us!

Rude! The store is nice & fairly clean, but that won’t make me go back there with the type of service I received. I went there to purchase a toy for my niece. The shelf tag said $ 14.99 for the item I was purchasing but wrung up at $ 24.99 at the register. I mentioned to the cashier that it wasn’t the right price, she got someone to do a price check and they said the price was $ 24.99. I agreed to purchase the item, but went back to the shelf that I purchased the item from. The tag that was displayed directly beneath the item said $ 14.99 and the entire slot on the shelf was filled with the item I purchased. I mentioned something to an employee about it but all they said to me was«Sometimes things get moved around and the tags get misplaced.» I understand that but the tag beneath it said $ 14.99 not $ 24.99. They pretty much told me there was nothing for me to do except return the item to get my money. I don’t know what Toys R Us policy is, but I’ve worked in retail before, we were supposed to give the item to the customer at the price that the tag listed on the shelf. I didn’t want the item for free or anything but I would have expected to get it at the price that was listed on the shelf! I couldn’t return it because I desperately needed a gift for my niece so I just said whatever. I will NEVER return to this Toys R Us again and take my business elsewhere. I don’t even want to go to another Toys R Us again regardless of its location due to this bad experience and lack of customer service. I felt as though I was treated like I was just a nuisance. I didn’t make a big deal or fuss about anything but did expect to pay $ 14.99 for the product. I would rather shop on Amazon or at Target before ever going back to a Toys R Us store again.

Like many Toys R Us, this place is huge… but it is still pretty easy to find what you are looking for. The shelves are stocked pretty well, though it does seem that their stock doesn’t rotate very quickly. Locating a sales associate was very easy & she happily climbed up the top shelf to get the item we were looking for.
