Yes, it’s a nice place but I find it pricey. I rather go to the local nursery who plants are just as good for a lower price and I get to support a local farmer. I do stop once a year at briggs to see what they have and to pick up some seeds.

I want to deduct a star for being on the pricey end, as far as garden centers go. But I can’t. Holy mother of zen-meets-magical gardening possibility. God help you if you’re on a tight schedule, because 1. you will forget all woes as you wander around, lost in day dreams 2. The staff is knowledgeable and takes the time you need. What?! Beautiful displays for inspiration Tons of flowers and veggies Huge selection including less common plants Landscaping, birding, patio supplies And a legit café in the middle of the store. Will this be the only garden place I go from now on? No, only because I can’t afford it. But I suggest you visit this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Store and café are a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy your lunch. The paninis are amazing, service is prompt and friendly. I ate here 3 times this past week! Everything is organic, slightly pricey, but worth every penny.

Our office recently started getting lunch from Briggs café and I cannot say enough about how delicious everything has been… the hot turkey on ciabatta is quite possibly the best sandwich I have ever eaten!!! Reasonable prices(all sandwiches are $ 6.50) with quality ingredients.

This nursery blows away all others within 30 miles… possibly more. Forget the big box stores. who wants boring azealeas and rhodoendrons. come here and get that special plant. Need a big tree? got it. Small tree? got that too. Bonsai tree? fuck yes! Rows of evergreens, Daylillies, perennials, annuals, rock garden creepers of every shade. even moss! A bit higher in price, but you will find what you need so your yard doesn’t look like the gas station«garden».

Hands-down the nicest nursery in the area. Enormous, great quality, decent prices. Sometimes I just stop in to wander around and smell the fresh plant air in winter. Wonderful selection of gifts.

I return here year after year because Briggs carries some of the best annuals, perennials around, including hard to find vegetables and herbs. The store also carries almost everything you need(and don’t need but want) for a garden. I’ve found that their prices are comparable to most other places in the area and the quality above anywhere else in the area. Yes, if you shop around you may find cheaper, but the quality won’t be as good.

I agree with Vince’s review. Steve, self-announced co-owner, was similarly rude in my interaction with him when I tried to exchange a dead shrub(with tags still attached) purchased from Briggs. Since I didn’t have a receipt, and he said that the shrub was purchased more than a year ago, I apparently made two mistakes. I didn’t save the receipt, and I purchased a suspect shrub instead of patiently waiting for healthier supplies. Steve accused me of having an attitude, I guess because I asked to speak to a manager before his announcement«I’m a manager and one of the co-owners». After I told him«I will take my business elsewhere», he said that he doesn’t care(great way to run a business!), that he is great to all his customers, and that he bends over backwards to satisfy them. In summary, Briggs treats you very well when you are purchasing their stuff, not so much when you come back with a product return. I also recommend you take your business elsewhere where you will always be welcome – not just when you’re emptying your wallet into their cash register.

This is one of our favorite places to go for all of our planting needs. They are pricey, but well worth it. Great quality, and they guarantee any of their bushes or trees for one year. The grounds are impressive and the building has a great variety of little gift items, and an ice café. The hanging plants we buy here right before Mother’s Day have been HUGE and lasted us all summer, and were only $ 5 more than your big chain stores. Again, totally worth it. Every time we’ve asked questions or needed advise, their attentive staff has helped. We have purchased a dozen bushes, a treet, and probably hundreds of annuals here and we have never, ever had a problem. This past Christmas we went here for our tree and it was great! They had santa inside, we got some hot chocolate, and then went out to pick out tree. Again, it was a little more pricey than elsewhere, but it was cut fresh and lasted a long time. This is going to be our Christmas Tree ritual every year. There are few places like Brigg’s that I’ve seen and even fewer that you can recommend whole-heartedly with no reservations. This is one. A total gem!

I went here after darting away from the forklift guy at Boston Tropical Tree. Walking into Brigg’s is like entering a flowery oasis, probably because it is a flowery oasis. It is such a restful experience that if you overspend on plants, you can just pretend you spent a few hours at the spa to justify it. All kidding aside, they have an excellent variety of very happy plants, which all have labels so if you have more of a green pinkie than thumb, you can figure out how big they get, how much sun they need, their favorite pastimes, etc. They are no huge value, but I do think the quality is worth the cost and didn’t find them overpriced, either. Brigg’s also has a nice looking selection of garden décor, watering cans, and other accessories, which I will definitely have to check out when I go back.

Yes, this place is definatly on the pricey side but they are going to have what you want. The nursery is amazing, from garden veggies to tropical trees for sale. You pay more here for it but the quality and assistance is second to none. Huge green houses with lush flowers, plants, and trees attached to main building. Inside they have a café with baked goods along with the pricey store. The store is where they’ll hit you in the wallet with the nick nack stuff.

This place isn’t the cheapest to buy your plants but they are the best looking. The place is huge and There’s a lot of staff to help you pick out things and give advice. There’s also a café inside with coffee and pastries.

Briggs has just about anything and everything you would need to create your own garden haven. If you can’t do it, then they will do it for you — making all your gardening dreams come true. Their plants are healthy, beautiful and lush. They have the best guarantees too. The staff is helpful and if they don’t know the answer, they will hunt it down. The café is sweet and restful with so much around you to provide that restful feeling. I love it there just to walk among the plants and the butterflies. You will not be disappointed.

This is the nicest nursery in the area. It’s huge and gorgeous. There’s always plenty of staff and they are always super-helpful. The building is beautiful, as are the grounds. There’s even a little café/coffee shop inside. They always have a huge supply of the currently available plants and other stuff, plus they always have plants that I don’t see anywhere else. They have a lot of stone, mulch and other landscape materials too and they deliver. Their prices for stone and mulch are really good. The plants can be a little pricey. Due to the staff, setting, and selection, Briggs is my go to any time I have a gardening project I need a little help with or whenever I need some inspiration.
