Absolutely love the pizza! In this area of the neighborhood it’s hard to find pizza that isn’t greasy pan pizza — so it was a relief to find Big Red! Their pizza does not disappoint, it’s not made in a pan but directly on the oven, the way pizza should be made!

I used to like this place a lot… then one day I went there and they put hardly any sauce on the pizza. it was terrible. I went back on two occasions several months later hoping it was just that one night. nope! The pizza was still terrible on both occasions! Hardly any sauce, dry as a bone and the bread was so tough I hurt my teeth. Never going back.

We recently bought a house in the area and we tried Big Red. Great greek salads and the subs are huge. It is a family run operation and they always seem to be busy. The steak and cheese is good not too greasy. I have had their chicken cutlet and Italian subs and they are just as good. Very friendly family. I would recommend this place to anyone new in the area

Stopped by for a quick lunch and got the«12pm-4pm lunch special»: 9″ sub w/a bag of chips for $ 3.80! I had an italian toasted w/cheese, pickles, hots, onion, lettuce & tomato. Good sandwich, Great deal, I’ll definitely be coming here again to try the other lunch special subs!

I’m going to keep this short and sweet. I am what you would call a «Pizza Lover». It’s my favorite food and because of that it is hard for me to find good Pizza. Trust me when I say the pizza at Big Red is phenomenal. Go to Big Red today and try it, you’ll never have to decide where to get pizza again.

Love big red pizza. Have only had the pizza… that’s all you really need to know. I could eat a whole large cheese by myself and not need any extra seasoning or grated parm. SOGOOD! Gotta try their pizza out.

My household really enjoys the wings. The wings are very tastey and amazing! Price is good since we are college students. If your feeling lazy make two side dishes and order some wings for dinner! The french fries are abnormally good too! I do like the pizza but we just rather have those wings!

The only thing authentic about this pizza joint is the box… I am shocked to read that this place actually has some decent reviews. I have never given a restaurant on Unilocal a bad review until now… but this pizza is about as bad as it gets… The dough is slighly thin, and crispy… but not in a good way… in a tostino’s microwave-pizza, cracker crust way… overall it reminded me of a large, over-cooked eucharist The sauce is sticky and pasty and it reminded me of the stuff that sticks and collects on the side of the bowl when you microwave spaghetti-o’s. It’s gross… The cheese… oh my god, the cheese… seriously, what the hell is it? At first glance, it’s visually strange… it’s shaped like little pellets … but that’s not the problem, the problem is that it doesn’t melt … it may get a little soft, but it never actually melts enough so that the cheese combines… you can literally pull each tiny ball of cheese off separately, after the pizza is fully cooked. Curious, and with nothing else to do with the uneaten slices, we stuck one in the toaster, and toasted it for another 10 minutes or so… the crust was charred black and inedible, but the circular cheese pellets kept their shape throughout … I’m not sure about you, but I don’t trust cheese that doesn’t melt. There is no redeeming value to this pizza. My feeling is that they use the cheapest ingredients posible. There are enough good pizza places in North Attleboro, not to ever have to eat here again. I would recommend Rico’s, which is right around the corner… or even better… Café Porto Bello’s right up the street… their pizza is the best around. Honestly… I would pop a DiGiorno’s in the oven over Big Red… any day. I would NEVER even consider eating here again… sorry.

I have to say, this is our go-to place for delivery pizza in the area. It’s not that pan-style stuff that’s typical around here. this is a nice brick oven style pizza where the pie is baked right on the oven… like it’s supposed to… pies are generously topped and overall very good pies… Only Café Portobello down the street has better pizza in the area, but they don’t deliver. Now sandwiches on the other hand are in need of serious improvement. The first time, I chalked it up to a bad night… Tried again tonight and was equally disappointed. My steak & cheese was bland, skimpy on steak, and there was barely any cheese. WIfe had a chicken cutlet which she didn’t even finish. She said chix was dry and just not very good. We also ordered a side of onion rings(again, they seemed more like pre-frozen Burger King type rings rather than fresh made) and mozzarella sticks(average). My kids got pasta & meatballs… and the meatballs are pretty good, and the sauce is OK. so maybe a meatball sub would be the way to go. So… stick with the pizza here, and stay away from the sandwiches.

I stopped here on a rainy night after having to go to the vet for my iguana. They were super nice about letting me bring Thor in with me who was still asleep from his surgery. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my pizza but it was definitely worth it. It was one of the best sausage pizzas I have ever eaten before. The price was very reasonable too. The staff was also very friendly. I will definitely be going back here. The reason I only gave 4 stars, the pizza was not very good warmed up.

I drive almost 10 miles and pass a lot of pizza places to come here. Pizza is fantastic, well worth the drive. Had the pasta dishes once and there were top shelf.

They’re the only place in town that serves Italian-style pizza, rather than Greek. Everything is always perfect, everyone that works there is so nice, and they always deliver quickly. I almost wanted to say they are a tad over-priced, but the food really is always worth it. I live across the street and have a hard time not stopping in for a slice every time I pull into my parking lot!

After eating here a few times I thought that I had a sure thing. I’ve gotten pizza from here mostly and a sub once. I enjoyed everything till just now. I ordered some subs tonight and I had mold on my bread. My husband’s sub had some really tasteless meatballs on them… he said they tasted more like bread crumbs and flour then meat. My mom & dad didn’t enjoy their subs either. This was really sub par and I am not a big fan of mold so I’m not going to order from here again.

I find the food to be very inconsistent. The pizza is hit or miss and just average the few subs I have tried I would not order again. There are plenty of better choices in the area. I eat here because of it’s location and occasional good pizza when I am just to tired to go some place better for dinner.

Never again. Vile eggplant parm with spaghetti that tastes like the mushy canned stuff children eat. Zero effort put into the food. Zero. I’m getting all mad just thinking about it!

I honestly only went here because it was next door to my fiancé’s(now husband) apartment. The pizzas here are just ok. I have a tried different subs here. If you order a chicken cutlet. expect to get chicken patties and not fresh pieces of crispy chicken cutlets. That was a big turn off. What I did like was there steak and cheese with onion and peppers. Very delicious and not too greasy. I would come here again… but that’s only if I really had to.

We ordered here after receiving a coupon for a free pizza in the mail. The pizza was only OK. I thought it was really bland(maybe the sauce?) I doubt I’ll ever order here again considering all the other pizza places in the area to choose from.

Grimey little pizza joint where I got a mediocre pizza. I think I even got hit with old nasty dough that should’ve gone in the garbage instead of customers. I was kinda pissed, the reviews here are really good.

Looking for a place to get above-average pizza in the Plainville/North Attleboro area? I was too. I found Big Red on Unilocal and checked it out. Definitely not the typical pizza served at all of the«house of pizza» type places all around here. Great thinner crispy crust New York style. Wheat crust is offered as well. Reasonably priced and you could tell it was popular based on the number of calls and people working! I’d go back in a heartbeat.
