It’s over priced, salads are sometimes left out too long and you can see or taste it. This place is only good if your really hungry and can’t hold off till you get to a better place. Went down hill when the former owner who looked like Jack Tripper left.

Love this spot, boyfriend and I go here on weekend for our simple but favorite breakfast bagel sandwiches. Everything bagel with turkey bacon, love it and they don’t skimp on the meat, either. Their cold brewed iced coffee with cream and sugar, phenomenal. They keep me coming back.

North Arlington’s second dirtiest bagel store. Looks like a third world bodega — filthy original floors stained beyond recognition — filthy display cases — filthy kitchen — unrecognizable from the days of the original owner Gary which shined under his ownership — it’s a shame and sad to see but the evidence is in the wall(literally)

just an FYI to anyone who comes in here: The tips you are leaving in the tip jar do not go to the workers for good service. They go to the owner. They are pocketed. The girls and boys behind the counters make minimum wage and do NOT collect tips. They are for the greedy bastard who owns it.

they close grill early and they don’t write it anywhere on the website. Also this place is overpriced for a counter deli.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast. We ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, an omelette platter special, and two coffees to go. The bagels are made in house, so in the morning you will get fresh ones. The sandwich I ordered was two eggs scrambled and sausage. This was made to order and I was pleasantly surprised that the eggs had no browning, I.e. They took their time cooking it. Very tasty. The omelet platter was a Greek omelette with 3 eggs, fresh tomatoes, onions, spinach and feta. This came with home fries and toast. This was very good, sumptuous, but came with the bread not toasted. Odd. The coffee was fresh but very weak. This place rates three stars instead of four for service. Service was polite but very difficult to understand. While the person offered great patience, he could not communicate clearly with the customers and had to repeat the questions frequently.

Back in high school this place use to be the best around now it’s anything but. Their breakfast sandwich taste like they’ve been left out overnight and just reheated. The best bagel they make is the French toast bagel but they never make enough and sell out early.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened back in 2000. I remember always getting a chocolate milk when i was younger and a whole wheat bagel hot out of the oven with nothing — just the bagel. It was an awesome carb filled snack. Now a days I’ve expanded my palate and I get the whole wheat bagel with taylor ham, egg and cheese with salt, peper and ketchup — extra ham and runny egg is how i like it. They always successfully make it the way I like my sandwich.

I don’t know what the heck has happened to this place, but their bagels aren’t as good as they used to be. I preferred the quality of their food when the original owner was still there. If I’m not mistaken, management has changed three times? No bueno. If you’re really in a bind for a bagel and need food immediately, then their food is palatable. Otherwise, drive up the street to Bagel House on Belleville Turnpike.

Not the best idea to have one person working the counter at 7am. I walked out. Man I miss New York

They have very good bagels and food. — we had our morning bagel there on Sunday and we liked it. The people are nice and the price was good. After all, there is not much you can buy these days for only $ 12.45 cents. Will stop by more often

At one time this was THE place for bagels in the area. It was a gold mine. New owners have come and gone and after a recent visit — I won’t be going back. Old funky-smelling bagels? Check. The ‘everything bagel’ with barely anything on top? Check. The only saving grace: they still sell Clinton’s iced teas.

Decent bagels but the prices are too high and the deli food is old and rancid. In fact, pretty sure I got food poisoning from eating a sausage, egg & cheese platter from here. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 2 minutes to Bagel Bistro for breakfast.

This place has switched hands more times than three card monty in New York City. Like a professional athlete every place has its prime, and this place is way past it. In its prime, I was there religiously. But now, sandwiches are smaller, prices are higher and food quality should be checked by a health inspector. On two separate occasions, I have gotten rancid egg salad and when I questioned its freshness, I was told«Yeah, I said something about it but no one switched it». I should write more but this place isn’t worth my time. See my other reviews if you want to know the premium local breakfast spots. Rest in peace Bagel Bistro.

I have had bagels from here quite a few times. I thought they make a good bagel. I usually have the bagel early in morning(by 530am), so they are freshly made, nicely crisp and still warm in the inside. Their coffee was good too. I can’t comment on their prices. My co– worker brings them in to the office so I have never paid for them. The one time I went to the store, the lady working the counter was friendly. My co– worker paid for my breakfast that time also, so I still have no Idea what their prices are.

Back up the Brinks truck! Someone mentioned this place as being nicknamed«Million Dollar Bagel». It’s soooooo true. They say no credit card purchase under $ 10. No problem. Just breath and it cost you ten bucks. With that out of the way, I have to say the wraps and sandwiches are really good. Bagels are ok, but not the best. They are do-able. Coffee is ok. Once you pay just call 911. Because you’ve just been robbed. I often walk out asking myself«did I break a window or something». Prices are just out of control high

Bagel Bistro has been my go-to for good bagels since my high school days — large & round with crispy exterior & hand rolled all on the spot. I love catching them when they pull a batch right out of the oven, but they’re also delicious the next day too. They have a really large variety of bagels & cream cheese flavors. For the non-bagel fans, their breakfast sandwiches are awesome too! LOVE their sausage, egg & cheese on croissant. I also love their tuna salad here too … as a matter of fact, there isn’t anything that I don’t like about Bagel Bistro! Their prices are more expensive than other bagel places in the area and they are out of my way, but I love them so much that I just don’t care about those two things. A bagel w/cream cheese will cost you about $ 2.25(MUCH better than NYC prices). Bagel Bistro is a winnerrr.
