I love this bowling alley and the new Mingos Restaurant really improves this place. I love bringing my friends and going bowling although they do need to work on the lanes. Sometimes the bowling balls get stuck or the lane isn’t working properly. They always fix the problems for you usually in a quick manner but it can be frustrating when it keeps happening. I love that you can get great food and drinks right there. I love that you can buy bowling equipment there and at a decent price. Bowling prices are also decent and they play music for you too. On some nights they turn on some dance/disco type of lights. Its a fun place to go and the only big bowling ball place in town. They also have indoor golf, pool tables and darts!

Mt. Greylock Bowl is everything you want in a bowling alley — lots of lanes, friendly folks, a fully stocked bar with BBC beers on tap, free popcorn, a ton of shabby charm, and an amazing value.

By far the best bowling alley in the Berkshires. Open late every night with prices that cannot be beat. The lanes, however, are not the greatest. The Cove(in Great Barrington, MA) has far superior lanes. Mt. Greylock Bowl has a certain charm unmatched by any other bowling alley in the area. Full bar is a plus and plenty of arcade games to entertain children/adults. Come in and have the most fun you’ve had in years without breaking the bank.

What a great bowling alley! The first time I came across the lanes, it was closed on a Sunday afternoon and I feared that the alley had long since closed. But the next time I passed by there were cars in the lot, so I went in to check it out. Since we’re talking Massachusetts here I should specify that Mt. Greylock Bowl is ten-pin, with plenty of lanes(30+ I believe), a pro shop, snack bar and liquor license. Craft beer on draft will set you back a measly $ 3.50! The staff are always friendly and the prices for the bowling are much cheaper than I’m used to in the Boston area. The best part, however, is the vintage wooden lanes — hard to find at tenpin lanes in New England, where most bowling centers are either newer and use artificial surfaces, or older ones that have retired their wooden lanes long ago. There’s just no substitute for the sound my 15 pound ball«Dennis» makes rolling down these wooden beauties. While the building itself is decidedly retro, there are some newer elements, including the automatic scoring and newer looking pin setters.

Wow… how many teenage nights did I spend at this place when I should have been studying for AP whatever? Too many. Aside from the smoke(which is probably gone now) it’s a good, cheap place to bowl a few.
