The grounds and visitors center are lovely. Mike tour guide was awesome! Free tours and the tasting fee was very reasonable.

Very nice stop in South Central TN. Got there just too late for last tour but Mike the tour guide explained the unique aspects of the Dickel brewing process. He then lead us through the 4 sample tasting. We bought a bottle of the good stuff. Outstanding customer service.

I’ve done this tour about three or four times now but when I took the tour yesterday, it all seemed new to me. George Dickel #12 is my drink of choice so I was happy to see their gift shop stocked with several different shirts and even bought a new ornament for the Christmas tree. Nice, intimate 45 minute walking tour. We were very impressed that this entire operation(not counting the tour guides and gift shop operators nor the bottling process that is done up in Illinois) is run by only 29 employees. These 29 employees do it all, even mow the grass. This is a great tour to do in conjunction with the Jack Daniel distillery tour less than an hour away. We did them both yesterday and enjoyed them both.

George dickel distillery is hidden but great spot to learn how they making most wonderful Tennessee whisky. They have tour for show you how they make it and very much historical study too. Not just making whisky they have deep deep history come with it. Tour is free for now but tasting 2 whisky taste for $ 5-. Must do tasting. Lady who gave us tour is very pretty and southern hospitality hearted. We enjoy so much. And they located very beautiful site. Not crazy crowded like«jack .D «place. It’s near by each other. Highly recommended to check out. Better call check for tour scadules!
