Salon In the Park

I am sure the stylist with good reviews here deserve them. I read them all and called for an appointment. When I was told the stylist name and it wasn’t one of the ones reviewed I thought well they are probably all of a certain standard there so ok. I needed an appointment same day so I’m game. Result? The worst hair cut I have had since I was 3 and cut it myself. All I needed was a trim of the same cut. What I got was shredded hair. It was so bad that I had to actually try to repair it myself when I got home. The only thing I can do now is let it grow out for about three months so someone can truly repair it. She called herself Mary. She displayed no skills or training when it comes to cutting hair.

Cinta is the best! My hair is thick and curly, but Cinta knows how to work with it. I finally found someone I can keep going back to!
So far she has cut my hair, colored it, and she styles it every time. She gives me her feedback before we try anything new. So far I’ve loved everything she’s done.
Today I have another appointment for balayage coloring, can’t wait to see how great it looks!

Jennifer is a color magician! I have curly, difficult to manage hair and she tames it like a pro. She has been coloring my hair for over 2 years and I’m happy everytime with both the experience and result.

The salon has a very trendy and professional look to it. I’ve been a loyal customer to Thu Vo for a year now after countless of horrible hair stylists. She’s hilarious and creates a wonderful bond with her clients. Most importantly she’s suggestive on the best ways to treat, color, and cut my hair for various occassions. Our family loves her with 2 generations of my extended family happily going to her to get our hair cut and colored.
She definitely loves to make people fall in love with their hair and please them. :)

Thu Vo has been doing my hair for years, I’ve been her client since Gene Juarez and she’s the BEST OF THE BEST!!! She specializes in color and always delivers amazing results. She always cuts my hair and let’s me know when I’m in need of a trim with one look at my hair. She’s honest, a hard worker and always caters to her clients needs while telling them the truth of what can be done. She’s not only a hair stylist but a therapist while she does your hair! She lives with values and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Salon in the park is in a comfortable neighborhood and I always go to Thu to get my hair done and love her because she always makes me feel beautiful after leaving her chair! She did my blonde, brunette and now I go to her to maintain my ombré hairstyle. I’m a very happy long-​term client!

I will never go back there again. The other stylists below may be excellent but the stylists I got an appointment with Trina totally ruined my hair. I have straight hair and specifically asked for 1 ½ inches off my ends and to keep the back the same as the front and she couldn’t do that. Then the right side was longer then the left. So my 1 ½ inches turned into two inches. She got flustered and told me my hair was difficult to cut. Excuse me? A professional stylist never tells a paying client that. So now my hair is extremely choppy looking and is uneven still. I plan to let it grow out now and go to a more professional salon with experience in cutting and styling straight hair. It’s unfortunate though as this stylist ruined the probably excellent reputation. Also Trina was in a rush for her next client so I never got to the back of my hair. I sorry I have to give one star. Don’t ask for Trina. I paid $ 45.00 for this.

Salon is a really great place to get you hair done, it’s visually very clean and I’ve been going to see Thu Vu for about 4 years she really amazing with coloring as well as the cut. She originally worked at Gene Juarez and her skills are above and beyond! I’m a loyal customer and I would highly suggest you see!

I have been seeing Bonnie for 2 years now and I always love the way my hair looks and feels when she is done with it! I have never had another stylist who is so IN to what she is doing. Bonnie is always telling me what the latest trends are and helps me incorporate them in to my own style. She has said that it is what makes ME FEEL GOOD about my style that is going to work for me or not. She is always funny and makes me feel good!

Deanna is a talented stylist who really listens to you and does a fantastic job cutting your hair. You won’t be disappointed.

I never would have imagined I would find a Burien area stylist as hip and talented as Jesse at Salon in the Park. He takes his time on you and is pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling. Prices are very reasonable for what you get in return.
