I walked into University not expecting anything out of the ordinary. As soon as I walked in they told me they had no openings. Strange I thought for a barber shop but I guessed it was because they were good and had a lot of customers. I made an appointment and got my haircut from Shane. Not only was it the best cut I have gotten from someone in this state, but everybody in there was very friendly. We all talked about sports and good old man stuff haha. I did’nt feel like a customer here, I felt like a guy who’s friends cut hair! They do a great job cutting even if you do not know exactly what terms to use for your cut. Also they did a straight razor clean up, which is in my opinion, a must for any barber shop. I will go only to this place for a haircut from here on.

This is easily the best barber shop in town. They know exactly how to give you the haircut you want and make great recommendations. Very experienced barbers who treat you like an old friend once you walk in and are very passionate about their work. I have never spent more than 20 minutes in there because they are so efficient at setting up their appointments. If you’re a busy person and stick to a tight schedule, this is the place for you.

This is a great place, they are really cool people, I’ve always received great cuts and I won’t go anywhere else while I am living in the Norman area.

I moved to the Norman area 8 months ago from New Orleans and have been getting mediocre haircuts at best. I took the advice of the the two above comments and man I’m glad I did! The shop itself reminds me a bit of a throw back barber shop. Simple and to the point. Three great guys, all engaged in conversation and very friendly. I felt like I’d been coming there for years as soon as I walked in. Very clean and sanitary. Josh cut my hair and I could not have drawn up a better cut. Attention to detail down the trimming my eyebrows, straight razor on my neck and around my ears. And at no point did I feel he was rushed to get to the next cut even though it was the end of the day. To me that’s the difference. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his craft and it shows. It was a $ 16 cut but I’d have happily paid $ 25. Needless to say I’ll be going back and bringing family to get cut as well. As a side note I’ll try to take some pictures next time I go since that was almost a deal breaker for me. And I’m in a wheelchair 100% accessible.

Just like Toby F. said… this is the best barber shop around Norman, if not central Oklahoma entirely. If you’re a guy who values how your hair looks, or even just a comfortable environment to chat up sports, cars, etc. while getting you’re hair cut, this is the place to go. I’ve had a cut by all three and not only do they make you feel like you’re just hanging out with the guys, they are really good at what they do as well.

This is easily the best barber shop in Norman. There are three barbers, all younger guys who make the place extremely comfortable. They’ve done a good job making their shop a traditional place you can go every few weeks, get a cut, and feel like you’re chatting with friends, assuming you become a regular. They operate by reservation most of the time, so call ahead. I usually use Josh, who has been cutting my hair for years, which is great because I don’t ever have to explain what I want, I just show up and the job gets done how I want it done. But I’ve had cuts by the other guys in the shop as well when Josh is out of town. All are great at what they do. Having lived in Norman pretty much my whole life, I’ve tried most the other shops in town. If you want a place to do it right for a good price, you should give these guys a call.
