There are other places in Norman that have hot dogs, but this is the best! I have been coming here for years. Love it!

Food: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Cleanliness: 3⁄5 Décor & Style: 2⁄5 The chili cheese dogs are pretty darn good, not the best i’ve ever had, but good enough for me to come back during lunch time. The Philly cheesesteak however is not that good so I won’t be getting that again. Overall it’s good place to grab a quick, cheap bite for lunch, but not really the kind of place you go for dinner or to go out at night. Has a few classic arcade games in the back and the décor is full of OU sports memorabilia. The entire place looks like a basement of a fraternity house!

This is a good coney spot. Dogs made just right. Had three conveys, chips, two cookies, and a drink for less than $ 10. Furniture is dated but OK for a coney joint.

Kids and I stopped by this place to check it out after a long day, there was nobody there… guy behind the counter has a European accent and looks young. He took our order and we started in… Not good! Wieners were small, chili tasted like cheap canned chili and the cheese was fake thing was the Sooner sports décor and old school video games, I wouldn’t dine here if I were you!

The canned chili was so cold, my low quality cheese never melted. I guess i coulda bought better chili from the store. Live and learn.

I would say it is ok food. The chili tastes like it is from a can and the hotdogs are similar to gas station food. The only good thing is the 3 free video game arcade machines. Their cookies were under cooked, and the only other good thing was the price. And it’s a good place for normal hot dogs nothing special.

Dines there last night on the world’s skinniest coney. The cheese was straight out of the government cheese truck. This place was not good at all.

This is by far the best coney place anywhere. The home made chili is definitely the best thing on the menu and it goes great on anything but of course the chili dogs are fantastic. The atmosphere is nice with free games(including pool) to play and very cool OU memorabilia to look at. There are a couple of TV’s that are guaranteed to always be tuned in to some sort of sporting event. Top Dog is definitely top dog!

Food is subpar, but the amenities are nice. Going against one of my self-imposed guidelines for posting on Unilocal,I am choosing to review this place despite only having experienced it once. That said, I visited specifically for that purpose(& to try it out), and I ordered a variety of items for that reason. Likes: I LOVE the FREE billiards table & the multiple TVs with«the game» playing on them. The place is also lined with autographed OU sports memorabilia, which is a nice bonus. You can take a slow, long walk along the walls, remembering the glory of yesteryear, then sit & eat your hot dog in front of a baseball/basketball/football game. After finishing, you can rack it up for a couple games of pool — what better way to finish off a meal? The guy at the counter was particularly nice as well, and he seemed to have no problem with us bumming around for a while. They did have some respectable cookies for sale too. Dislikes: The food pretty much sucks. First, I couldn’t believe that this hot dog joint didn’t have French fries! How can you eat hot dogs with friggin SunChips? I mean, really? The dogs themselves are pretty generic too, & I was hoping for more of a Chicago style hot dog menu. They’re basic dogs, not even Vienna beef. I also tried a meatball sandwich, which had quite a different flavor from what I was expecting(& not as tasty as I hoped). The menu’s pretty much just dirt cheap hot dogs — nothin special. As for the ambience, the place would be pretty cool if it could ever manage to see some business, but as it stands, it’s totally dead inside. The lack of fellow diners is nice in a way, but in the end it makes it kinda boring. I’d love to go back again if it didn’t feel obligated to buy any food when I went! I think I may go some time & buy a dog & drink just so I can use the pool table.
