This is where I started jiu jitsu about 2 years ago. Reasonable rates, good seminars from time to time. Kids classes. Both gi and no-gi instruction. Also works on MMA training and striking. In the past, Scott has also brought in good people to help augment the training he gives, a judo coach, Matt Grice, UFC fighter who trained with Scott in the past. My only real regret is that I didn’t start training earlier. A good system set up. Classes are usually a 10 minute warmup, one set of lessons, which you go through with a partner, followed by open training for 30 minutes. Then on most nights there is a wrestling, striking, or mma class after, so if you go unlimited, you can stay and work on different stuff until you’re spent. Has kids classes(Titan Tigers), with a kid-specific curiculum. If you want to teach your kid something that will have a discipline element to it, and also be the most effective martial art against a bully, or a real world attack, I highly recommend Scott’s BJJ for kids program. Because of the nature of training, and the uniform, it is also a very good workout for adults or kids. You come away knowing that you have learned something about yourself, and your ability to defend yourself, in addition to getting your workout in.
