I seriously love Raising Cane’s chicken fingers. They always come out so perfectly hot and crispy. Their sauce is amazing too… I’m pretty sure my husband could eat it like soup because he loves it so much. The service here is quick and friendly.

To say these are just chicken fingers is doing this chain a great disservice. I’ve had chicken fingers, or what were called chicken fingers, from coast to coast and I’m pleasantly surprised by this establishment. Not only was the food excellent, but the staff was friendly and effective. Ever go in to a restaurant and get the feeling they could care less about whether or not you enjoy your meal or if you’ll ever come back? Not the case here. They truly love their customers. I will definitely be back. Other restaurants better step up their game!

Food is good. Fresh chicken. You may want to second guess going through the drive through. Averages 10 minutes. Their excuse is fresh food.

Not bad for fast food. Chicken is always well cooked and crispy. The sauce is delicious but always costs more for extra. Would be nice if they had more of a selection but overall I’ve never had a «bad» meal here. Staff are friendly and quick. It’s rather costly for fast food but the quality is much better than say KFC so the higher price is somewhat warranted. Overall 4 stars.

For fast food chicken this is the best! Every time I go there and get the caniac combo with a root beer. There honey mustard sauce is absolutely amazing. It’s got great tang and spice to it. The chicken is always fresh and delicious. All the strips are big and juicy. And on top of that the price is really good. Their fries and coleslaw is pretty decent but the chicken is great. There canes secret sauce and honey mustard are prepared fresh and homemade. I go to canes a lot and I love every time I go there. It fills me up because the portions are so big! 5 Stars

Fast food, chicken fingers mostly. Really excellent chicken. It’s always hot, the fries are hot, they actually brew their own ice tea which is VERY good. Most of the customers are OU students and it is very busy on game says. One thing I don’t like is having to pay extra for their awesome sauce. The place is usually clean and the staff friendly.

Let’s face it, you go here for one thing and that’s chicken fingers. If you want some mediocre, gimmicky menu add-ons, there’s a McDonalds next door. By focusing on such a small menu, they really do serve better food. I have yet to have a dry chicken finger. They’re always juicy and moist and I wish I had that kind of success rate when I make chicken at home. The sauce is a variation on a peppery-thousand island that I like, but some people go crazy over. The service was friendly and prompt. The workers actually seemed to like their jobs. Normally, I would just give this place 4 stars for good food, but I’ve upped it to 5 after discovering that Cane’s will be closed tomorrow to give its employees the Labor Day holiday off. That’s so rare nowdays, especially in the fast-food sector. It shows that they really do care about their employees and it is reflected in the service and quality.

I love Raising Cain! Box combo is the best. I also like that Raising Cain values their employees by closing for things like company picnics and they donate food for community events. Great job!

Really good chicken with crinkle cut fries and a slice of bread. Make sure to ask for cane’s sauce with your meal. Also, they have great sweet tea if you like it sweet

Two things I’ve noticed Okies being a huge fan of: chicken and donuts. Raising Cane’s is very, very similar to the South’s Zaxyby’s except they ONLY serve chicken strips and sides — fries, cole slaw, and texas toast. When a restaurant or chain survives. and thrives. on just a few items, you know it must be good! Don’t mess with perfection, right? And it was indeed good eats. The chicken was moist and was perfectly coated to crispy perfection. The thin, crinkle cut fries allowed for it to crisp up nicely and not be starchy when fried. I thought the cole slaw and texas toast was okay and the accompanying sauce was almost identical in appearance and taste in comparison to Zaxby’s. Overall, the food is very good for what it is, though a bit pricey. I took one star off because it was slow with only one other customer there, yet ALL the tables were dirty. :/

Not always my go to place when I have a craving for chicken, but they definitely aren’t bad. The chicken doesn’t taste off or have a weird texture like Chicken Express(sorry, guys); and they have some awesome bread and dipping sauce that I just can’t get enough of.

I really did not like the chicken fingers. I hear great things about this place, but there is another place that we frequent so I hadn’t gotten around to trying Raising Cane’s. Our children’s school did a fundraiser so I thought it would be the perfect time to try it out. I went through the drive thru. What I took home was a big tailgate box of hard, overly breaded, inedible chicken strips. There might have been 2 or 3 that were ok to eat. They were just gross. The sweet tea was good, though. But I won’t go back for that. There are great chicken tenders down the way on Lindsay.

Service was great! Minus star for the chicken. Everyone loves their strips, but when I got mine, the breading kept falling off! The thing that saved me from giving Cane’s 2 stars is the sauce. Ohhh my goodness! So gooood!!! Otherwise, the rest of the combo was ho hum. Their cole slaw was similar to KFC– watered down creamy. French fries are crinkle cut and remind me of Del Taco. The BF loves their bread. It’s very buttery! Cane’s is OK in my book.

Fantastic fast food chicken. The batter is nice and light on very juicy chicken tenders. The sauce, bread and sweet tea are also great. I do wish they’d offer buffalo sauce and ranch though(they only have their specialty sauce). Service is always fast and they’re open relatively late. Fantastic for large group/catering orders too.

This is probably the only fast food resturaunt that deservea 5 stars. For 4 years I ate at this Raising Canes regularly while at OU. I think it’s funny that people love their food but complain about there not being enough variety. Canes’ goal is to do one thing well and that is Chicken Fingers and sauce. If they started making other stuff I would probably be less interested. They are a small chain started down in Louisiana and are generally only in college towns like Norman.

For being made fresh, my fries and fingers were not as hot as they should have been! They must have been sitting a while before they called our number.

Great stuff, just not a lot of choice. Let’s see — should I get the chicken fingers, the chicken fingers, or the chicken fingers? I’ll have the chicken fingers. Alright, anyway, so I’ve been to Raising Cane’s probably scores of times now, and though it is pretty good, there’s so little variety that I don’t often feel like eating there anymore. I think it’s one of those places that gets your attention when you first encounter it but slowly falls off your map as time goes on. Their only problem is a desperate need for menu variety. Likes: Good chicken fingers, hand breaded and never frozen. Price is also good — about six bucks per meal. The fries are decent. Many people are just crazy about the Cane’s Sauce(the flavor of which is difficult to describe in writing, but it basically looks like thousand island dressing but tastes more like a tangy mayo). Personally, I go to Cane’s for one item — the garlic-butter-doused Texas toast. It’s quite good, and you can sub for an extra one instead of cole slaw. Cane’s is also a fairly happenin OU student hangout, and the décor gives a shoutout to virtually every cool/funny movie since about 1980. Dislikes: Complete lack of variety. Most chains are constantly trying to jockey for market share, constantly inventing new items and selling them cheaply in order to get people in their doors. Though I respect that Cane’s does one thing and does it well, as a consumer I have become spoiled by the techniques of Cane’s competitors. I very much enjoy trying something new that sounds appetizing to at a place that I am familiar with. In about six years of me going to Cane’s, I have yet to notice a single menu change. I would at least like to see more variety in the sides that are offered, perhaps a dessert or some mashed potatoes or a vegetable. Maybe they could start selling smoothies or shakes along with soft drinks? The place is just SO limited because you have to get fingers and fries every time… As a note, it’s also a bit greasy and is in fact a fast food environment, though it’s one of the better ones around. Bottom line — Cane’s is a fun hangout where you can grab some good chicken fingers, but if you’re not in the mood for that particular entrée, it’s a no go.

I eat Cane’s whenever my little brother is in town. We both love it. The service is always friendly, the food is awesome, and the sauce and sweet tea are to die for. They serve the BEST chicken fingers I have ever had. The one in Norman is located on the south side of Alameda before you get to E. 12th st. Also they are open pretty late when school is is session. If you haven’t tried Cane’s you should.

Best dang chicken strips on the planet! I used to eat at this place all the time when I lived in Louisiana and I ended up getting my wife hooked on it too. On our last trip to Dallas we made a detour on I-35 to get some grub before getting there. The line was long as heck as usual at any of the locations. The staff was courteous and was in a very happy mood as they helped us with our order. People, if you live near this place and you haven’t had it before, you really deserve to have your man(or woman) card revoked.. .. ..
