Classic Vision

Very pleased with my first visit with Dr. Jake Smith and his staff. I had to switch optometrists due to a change in insurance coverage, and I just did a search with my zip code to find the closest one in my new network. I was lucky it was Classic Vision. They were able to get me an appointment within 10 days of me calling. The office is located in Brookhaven Village, and there was plenty of parking directly in front of the entrance. Dr. Smith had 2 women working for him that day, I didn’t catch their names, but they were very friendly and couldn’t have been nicer.
I had a complete examination plus a discussion with Dr. Smith and I was looking for glasses after about a half hour. Very quick. With looking for glasses, picking out lens options, and paying, I was only at the office approximately 50 minutes. Definitely less than an hour. Dr. Smith has an excellent «chair side» (as opposed to bed side) manner. He was friendly and discussed not only my current vision health but the outlook for the future. He answered all questions thoroughly. Very good care. Additionally, his employees were very helpful with helping me pick out frames and deciding on lens options. Highly recommended, I’ve found my new optometrist.

Dr. Smith and his staff were awesome! I didn’t consider my vision to be deficient enough for correction but opted to make an appointment anyway. I had been to an optometrist in the past and was given a prescription for use while at the computer and while it did make using the computer more comfortable it wasn’t a good fit for everyday use. Dr. Smith was very patient with me when going through the «better one or two’s» which allowed me to be accurate in my responses. Since I didn’t feel pressured I believe this helped by ensuring he received the correct responses and thus getting me the correct prescription. In the end it really payed off, I couldn’t believe the difference a very light prescription made in my vision. It’s now been three months since my appointment and fitting and I wear my glasses constantly. Thinking back on Dr. Smith’s demeanor and level of care I can really tell he enjoys what he does and has a passion for giving his patients the best eye care hands down.

I have great service by Dr. Smith and his staff. I go to the Norman location, but they do have another location in Noble.
Dr. Smith gives a thorough eye exam and has lots of helpful expertise and suggestions when I have issues with my contacts. I love the eye drops they sell in the office! They don’t burn and save me a trip somewhere else.

I was delinquent in going to an eye doctor as I don’t have vision insurance but after reading great reviews of Classic Vision I have them a call with tons of questions — they were helpful and answered my questions and concerns with great patience, so I scheduled an appointment. After i scheduled via phone I got a text message confirmation– sweet!
The office is clean and well organized, nothing too fancy but it’s a doctors office, not a show room.
I have never met an eye dr more clear and convince as well as concerned about my health and satisfaction as Dr. Smith.
He really explains eye anatomy and health very clearly and helped me understand my own eyes better.
The staff was very helpful and wanted me to try out different brands of contacts before committing to a whole pack. I am grateful to the Classic Vision staff for providing me with quality eye care.
I know who I’m going to again!

The staff at Classic Vision is very friendly, and professional. They generally care about your health, and are very knowledgeable. They will make sure that you all of your needs for eye care are met. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

I love Dr. Jake Smith. I was an existing patient when he took over Classic Vision, and I have had zero need to switch optometrists.
I got to know him better when I battled a weird eye irritation last summer, and I really like him and his business. His family is very active in the community and he genuinely cares about customer service and the health of his patients. I even got a little email on my birthday.
