Motel 6

Also, it should be noted that after cleaning my room, there was a security issue: The drapery to the room was left wide open. Being on the ground level, and the window facing the parking lot, this showed all of the contents of my room to the general public. (To management’s credit, it only happened once.)
It is also a good idea to beware of any hotel which permits guests to run a hibachi grill on the stoop outside their room. There were many «characters» staying at this property.
All-​in-​all, the room was a lovely update on the old Motel 6. It’s still an efficiency hotel, and at the end of the day, it’s still a Motel 6.

The hotel has severe structural issues causing the balcony to bow. They are holding it up by a few pieces of wood. Room was dirty with stains on the towels and in the toilet. I knew I was staying at Motel 6 so I wasn’t expecting much, but I did feel that my safety needed to be more of a priority that a few boards.
