straight shooter: I saw Dr. Kolb a few years for a second opinion on my hand. He recommended I not get it and I was happy with that. i just saw him again a few months ago and gave me the same answer. The thing i like about him is that he is a straight shooter and doesn’t «candy coat» anything when he talks to you. I believe him to be a very honest person and that makes me feel good when my limbs are very important to me. If you see him you can be assured that You’ll be getting a doctor that takes his time and will give you the best disposition on your condition. I saw him in 2007 and would def. go back to him.
**UPDATE** 7÷2012− Had a broken finger and he fixed me up again, I had to have surgery and it was hard to deal with everyday tasks but got through it. He really in my opinion is an orthopedic worth seeing & doing any type of procedure. his staff is really good as well, and there very professional & accommodating. I was very impressed with the therapy section and they got me back to my regular activities in no time. oh yeah hes a Chicago bears fan too, thats a big plus in my book.

just had my second knee replacement done by this surgeon. he and his staff (shaun & tater) are the very best. fabulous bedside manner. gentle care. thoughtful and empathetic. I have referred dozens of friends to Dr. Kolb and will continue to do so.
